Programs: Residential Services - Youth (generally) ages 12-18 are provided with services that enable them to build positive relationships with caring staff members who are committed to helping the youth grow physically, emotionally, spiritually and intellectually. Recreation and sports programs enable youth to participate in group activities. Located in northwest Waco, Texas, the historic 130-acre campus features state-of-the-art homes and a charter school. The MCH Boys Ranch provides care for youth on a 500-acre rural ranch setting northeast of Waco. Residents participate in Future Farmers of America (FFA) activities as well as other programs to develop discipline, a strong work ethic and self-confidence.
Family Outreach Programs - Families in need are offered support through outreach offices in Texas and New Mexico. In-home services are provided to strengthen families through case management and community partnerships. In certain circumstances, foster care is also provided in Texas for children from birth through 17 years of age until the parents are able to resume parenting.
Transition Services - Young adults ages 18-25 are assisted with preparation for college, vocational school or employment in order to make a successful transition to independent living. Staff work with youth during their junior and senior years of high school to prepare for this program. Scholarships of more than $400,000 are awarded annually to MCH graduates and alumni to pursue education at four-year colleges, community colleges, and trade schools.
