This group, aptly named street hope, aides young vulnerable girls who beg during the day and prostitute at night in order to survive. Most all of these girls are orphans. Mercy hosue global provided funding and training to help these girls start their own artisan group and get off the streets. With funds donated by mercy house global, rehema was able to start the process of drilling a water well to provide the two maternity homes and surrounding community with clean water.

fair trade friday, started in 2014, now has 3,600 club members dispersed through 3 clubs helping employ thousands of women. We are now helping 50 nonprofit artisan groups in 25 countries. Every monday through thursday from 9:30 a. M. To 12:30 p. M. Volunteers gather at mercy house global at 5814 fm 1488 to tag, quality check, package and label all of the artisan items for shipping in our three clubs. 90% of all the work done on these projects are completed by volunteers. One of the beautiful things about this effort is that mercy house global provides a play area for the young children of mothers who want to volunteer. Unlike many organizations, mercy house global provides volunteer opportunities for families and children of all ages.
