We partner with effective, trustworthy organizations on the ground working with families and individuals, like Mercy Drops Dream Center. They identify one-time urgent needs that would otherwise go unmet and our donors meet those needs. Efficiency and trustworthiness are as essential to us and our donors as it is to you, so each nonprofit partner has to pass our initial vetting process as well as ongoing integrity checks. Causes: Philanthropy, Public Foundations
Mission: Our Mission is to build lasting relationships within the community that bring hope alive. We bring hope alive by offering free resources and services to connect people with a need to a community of support that addresses their immediate and long-term needs. We operate in the areas of homelessness, poverty, and education. MDDC serves as a resource center for the community through both our residential and outreach programs.
Target demographics: under-resourced neighborhoods, veterans, those experiencing homelessness, and those in the foster care system
Geographic areas served: Hampton Roads, Virginia, specifically in Portsmouth and the surrounding communities
Programs: clothing items, groceries, fresh produce, and so much more. We work directly with those in the community to find out their needs, and do our part to meet those needs.
