Mission: Mercer Street Friends Center was founded in 1957 by a group of Quakers to develop and deliver services to meet the diverse needs of individuals and families in the community, to inspire through active ministry the spiritual, mental, physical and social development of persons, communities and institutions, and to create employment and career opportunities.
Target demographics: families and communities make the journey out of poverty
Geographic areas served: Trenton and surrounding communities
Programs: access to nutritious food through the MSF Food Bank, parenting and early childhood programs, adult education, youth and teen programs, and a 12-month, full-day preschool.
