Mission: Provide behavioral health and intellectual developmental disabilities services to children and adults in bucks county pa through community based and residential programs.
Programs: Children's blended case management program of nhs bucks county continues to establish great rapport with the children and families they serve. This year, the bcms have established great working relationships with new community resources such as music therapy, play therapy and educational advocacy for the children and families to access. They continue to participate in yearly events like toys for tots, cradles to crayons, stuff the bus and angel tree with the ymca of north penn.
nhs bucks county serves 13 individuals within 4 residential homes, as well as 4 individuals who live in their own apartments and receive home and community habilitation. This program is piloting smart technology with the goal of enhancing the support people receive when they are in a semi-independent living program.
nhs bucks county provides service coordination for over 500 children in the lower bucks county area from birth to age 3. Individuals served in nhs bucks county report high levels of consumer and family satisfaction. Both our residential services and our early intervention supports coordination services prides themselves on providing excellent services to the individuals in our care and have a positive reputation in the community we serve.
