I was feeding and providing shelter for a stray cat that frequently visited my yard. One day I found him badly injured and took him in. I didn't have the money to get him fixed and I needed to keep him to give him his antibiotics for 10 days. I found Meow Missions and they helped me get a discounted voucher and find a clinic that could get him in quickly. They do so much good to help control the cat population and provide resources and information to other cat lovers who want to help. I ended up keeping the cat and making him part of the family.

I had two mama cats in the neighborhood, constantly having kittens, every three months. I contacted Jodi Aker after reading about the TNR program. She was tremendous in assisting me to get nine of the ferals fixed, including the mama's. She also assisted me when one of the ferals became sick. Without her I am sure that "Sweetie" would be gone, but now Sweetie is in a loving home. The Meow Mission is always available to offer assistance or knowledge, an outstanding organization!

Before The Meow Mission existed, our ferals and community cats were really on their own, often injured, sick, and starving. Some of us could get one fixed here and there, but the cost gets prohibitive when you have an entire colony and a vet charges over $100 just for the spay/neuter, not including vaccines or other meds.

Since The Meow Mission, our ferals and community cats lead much better lives. They are s/neutered, vaccinated, and vetted. hey have taken care of several kitties for me, the first one was Sunshine, a beautiful Maine Coon ginger boy. One of my kitties they took care of is now an indoor cat (he had injuries and was way too friendly to be outdoors) and his name is Ollie. He's a huge ginger boy with beautiful markings.

The Meow Mission is an amazing organization run by an amazing group of volunteers who are tireless in their efforts to slow down kitten season. This organization gets stronger every year. They are now, often, the first recommendation when someone requests help online. I used to feel like the only one, now I see many, many people recommending The Meow Mission for help with outdoor kitties of all types. That is because they are the best.

Meow Mission helps so many cats through their population control, their care of injured cats and all they do to give these sweet animals the best chance at their best life. I have donated to this wonderful place and will be donating again in the future! I love Meow Mission.

My first interaction with Meow Mission was when they helped us drop trap a gray cat I had been feeding and sheltering outside my home through the winter of 2016. He showed up one day in March of 2017 with a huge bloodied gash on his throat but he wouldn’t let us touch him. Meow Mission lent us a drop trap and helped with the cost of getting him fixed. We paid for a Covina shot to address the wound at ABC Clinic where we dropped him off. Their representative picked him up and took him to Meow Manor to recuperate and then brought him back to our home to release him. Within about a month and a half, he let me pet him. Go figure! He is now living safe and sound as our third cat full time in our home. I cannot stress how Jodi Aker instantly responds to any of our needs and concerns about cat questions. This organization is top notch in all that they do to help control the free roaming cat population and is so compassionate toward those cats that need extra care. Their “Barn Cat” program is awesome as they find employment for those cats needing new homes. Can’t say enough great things about Meow Mission, Jodi Aker, and her group of fabulous volunteers!

Meow Mission was a huge assistance to me. I had a badly hurt, stray cat in my neighborhood, and no idea how to care for it, much less trap it. One of their fantastic volunteers cam out with a live trap, and together, we were able to catch the poor thing. I transported it to a clinic for care, and have received updates From Meow Mission about the cat's recovery and socialization.

Meow Mission helped me get my colony fixed. My colony of 5 years are happy and healthy thanks to MM. Last year when one of my cats started losing hair, they provided me the means to trap him and get him into a vet for his medical concern. They are an awesome group of volunteers!

Meow Mission is an amazing group! Not only have they help to TNR hundreds - if not thousands - of stray and feral cats in our community, they have also provided emergency medical care for many street cats at the cost of tens of thousands of dollars. They have never said no when someone has reached out to them. More importantly, they are always there to provide education on the importance of TNR vs euthanization for feral cats. They are always happy to work with other area animal welfare organizations for the benefit of all animals. Meow Mission is an amazing asset to our community and we are blessed to have them here.
