The warmline uses a peer-to-peer approach, and is answered by a professionally trained staff of certified peer specialists who have first-hand, personal experience dealing with a mental health condition.
public policy/advocacy - takes place at the legislative and governmental levels in order to influence public policy and funding of mental health care in minnesota; on the county level through "grassroots" activities; and in the private sector with managed health plans.
mental health helpline - connects people with mental health treatment, services and support. The helpline provides information and referrals about services across minnesota, and provides tools and resources that support mental health recovery and wellness.
