The guardian ensures that the protected person resides in safe, suitable housing; receives adequate nutrition and medical care; receives public assistance for which he/she qualifies; and is cared for in the least restrictive manner and in accordance with his/her stated wishes to the extent possible.
health promotion - provides mental health education and promotion through hosting conferences, seminars, and workshops to businesses, educators, mental health providers, and doctors. Participates in health fairs to distribute literature on mental health issues and conducts depression screenings.
