I have been in this store 2x since January and both times my experience has been wonderful! I believe they have had a staff change and the ladies who work in this store are absolutely welcoming and just lovely. The store is clean and actually I got some amazing deals - I found 2 great picture frames that I can refinish and the quality of the wood is what I look for and it is perfect!! I am super excited I found a brass lamp base that fits a stained glass lamp shade that has been in storage and it looks like they were made for each other!!! Great deals! I will be back!

I strongly believe in what the community cupboard is doing! But on multiple occasions we have received moldy fruits and vegetables and well past it’s expiration date milk that is simply not remotely usable. This item pictured takes the cake on just plain disrespect to people in need and is completely overlooked as safe to give away. Today I opened this box of raisins to give my 10 month old and instead of finding a surprise toy in the box this is the surprise I got! Someone would have had to open this up and place it inside. Or it was donated like this and not checked for quality control. Honestly I just feel completely disgusted. At this point I’m wasting more gas money to come and get donated food that I really need for my family to drive home and find MANY of the items given are 100% spoiled. Community Cupboard please continue with your donations but please also do it while providing dignity and respect to those you are offering charity to. We are going through enough in these hard times and definitely do not deserve to be treated disrespectfully.
