The MendocinoLandTrust has been working to preserve land and to make the beautiful California coast accessible for all of the public for about 40 years, growing from a "kitchen-table" organization to a professionally staffed entity. They have built some fabulous trails and opened areas for public access...more than any other non-profit in California. They continue to engage with willing and interested landowners to protect important agricultural, recreational and wildlife lands.....forever.
