When our three year old daughter was undergoing cancer treatment, The Melonhead Foundation stepped in to help us out financially. Several years ago I ran across MelonHead Foundation while seaching for a official charity for my my Healing Center. Although other organizations did not have the time to respond to a small business owner, I received a personal e-mail from Deb within 24 hours. She was delighted to receive any contribution of any size. MelonHead remains true to this ideal today.

The Melonhead Foundation has touched so many lives. We have great examples of families and children who have been forever changed by their experience. Now we have been able to establish the Wannahealyah Wellness Center to assist cancer patients and their families in dealing with their situation and adding to any Western protocols they may be undergoing. By treating the entire family through counseling, Chinese medicine, positive visualization, etc. it reduces stress and aids healing. We offer laughter therapy sessions and many other courses for FREE to help out during these rough periods for our patient families.
The Melonhead Foundation is a unique pediatric cancer charity and meets a need that is vital to the families in our community. This group is fun and enthusiastic while dealing with such a tragic illness. Everyone involved with the foundation is an inspiration by their dedication and committment. This organization raises it's own funds through special events and increases public awareness with each one. The focus on financial support for pediatric cancer patients and families fills a great need not being met and the compliment of alternative medicine for the families at no charge is leading edge.
