Causes: Health, Neurology & Neuroscience Research
Mission: Joining a diverse group of professionals with creativity & commitment to the instruction, diagnosis, treatment, & enrichment of 0-5 age children with suspected or confirmed disabilities, applying research models to bonding, attachment, & all areas of development.
Programs: Mac initiated a non-lawyer representation prject at the office of administrative law for unrepresented parents in mediation against school districts. A bilingual aprent letter was developed for oal distribution. 2 teams were formed to provide racial & ethnic baalnce. Conference calls were held with hon. Laura sanders, hon. Robert giordano, barbara johnson, mac trustee, to work out implementation. Mac's research project was a developmental case study of a 2 year old girl with russell silver syndrome. Due to this rare geentic disorder no case study has been done on preschool children. Develpmental, health & educational needs are analyzed with particular attention to daily glucose levels which appear to predict time on task. Progress is measured against 18 mo. & 24 mo. Developmental inventories. Mac's facebook page presented holiday song videos for young children, celebrating thanksgiving, hanukkah & kwanzaa.
