They are able to meet your needs for any job in Med Tech you may be looking for, and even better they can help you grow your network nationwide. This is a 7 week course that requires more than just the weekly meetings you are required to attend. Expect to put about 10 hours per week into this program to include the pre-work and work with the mentor they assign you. You get out what you put in. I am very grateful to have found this program and I cant wait to watch them grow.

MedTechVets is an incredible organization. The reason it's so incredible is because of Amy & Breanne are two amazingly resourceful & supportive individuals. They are the real reason why MTV is the place to be!
During my time at MTV I was fortunate enough to build up the right network & land a job interview. My mentor Ray prepped me for my interview. At which point I ended up with a job offer.
Suffice to say you have everything to gain & nothing to lose by joining MTV.
I was a Summer 2023 fellow with MTV, and it's a shame I can't give them more than 5 stars! This program is incredible; from it's selfless program managers who are available 24/7, to the industry leaders who participate in weekly meetings, and the wide range of MedTech mentors who give invaluable advice and coaching to fellow. In the military, I was confident in my abilities to lead and tackle challenging problems on a daily basis. Now, with the support of MTV, I have that same level of confidence in how I can apply myself to a fulfilling career in MedTech as I transition out of active service.
I couldn't be happier with the experience I have had with the MedTechVets Academy. As a service member retiring after 20 years, to say I was nervous about getting out would be an understatement. Every member involved with MedTechVets, from board members to the guest speakers that volunteered their time to present great information about the industry took that worry away, and turned it into excitement and motivation. They have equipped me with the knowledge and tools I need to not only find my place within the MedTech industry, but to succeed. Thank you for all of your guidance.

MedTechVets has been a game changer for me. I have been out of the Military for over 19 years and was accepted to the program. Most of my Cohort were just about to transition out of the military. They treated all of us the same. What you put into the program is exactly what you get out of it. I am grateful for Amy and Breanne.
I retired from the army and struggled to transition from healthcare to healthtech. MedtechVets provided me with the opportunity to work with others that were making similar transitions. The program also allowed me to narrow down what I was looking for and how to network to find positions that I would be truly passionate about. My favorite thing about this program is that the goal is not to just place you in a job. The goal is to help you find a career that you are passionate about.
MedTech Vets is an example of a program devoted to improve the career transition experience of veterans. They do a great job at preparing individuals to improve a resume, build a network, market yourself, find jobs, interview, and get placement in the med tech and healthcare industries. The program managers put a ton of time and effort into helping us succeed.
Excellent program for veterans looking to break into an extremely competitive field. Amy and Breanne are the face of the program and they have one goal, to see everyone succeed. They are always available for assistance. This is not just a 7 week program, this is a partnership between an amazing group of vets who all work together for one goal. Patrice, is behind the scenes on the day to day stuff, but during the meetings she gives the perfect feedback and will work with you until you get it right. They even pair you up with a mentor to help guide you every step of the way as well. The mentor I was paired is awesome and it has turned into a good friendship.
You will only have success if you put in the effort, are willing to get good honest feedback and thrive off of others selflessly devoting their time to help. There is no reason anyone should fail after doing this program. If you do, you just haven't put in the work.

Great organization linking Veterans and Transitioning service members from all branches to the Medical Technology/Bio/Pharma/Device Sales Industries. MedTechVets provided a good overview of the skills and tools veterans need to start a career in a variety of verticals in the healthcare industry. They work hard to help prepare every fellow and provide them with resources to network with key individuals within the industry. 1-on-1 mentorship is also a valuable experience, giving each fellow hours of personalized advice and guidance from accomplished professionals. I have been honored to serve as a Mentor to transiting members of the military as a volunteer in the MedTechVets organization since 2015. The transition from a long-term military career into the civilian work environment can be challenging and at times very frustrating for the military member. MedTechVets provides a critical foundation for these transiting members of the military looking to establish a civilian career in the MedTech, Medical Device, Life Sciences, and Pharmaceutical Industries.
The staff at MedTechVets is invaluable, they are consistent in their approach, and they provide significant levels of support for those members of the military taking part in their multi-faceted program. They provide advice and guidance in the meaningful formulation and presentation of an individual’s background and history and how to effectively communicate to Industry members the value that they can bring to an organization. Through their program they expose the transiting military members to key contacts from various leading companies throughout the healthcare industry providing the military member with opportunities for continued dialogue and interaction with those industry sources going forward.
The MedTechVets program provides a very needed resource to support transiting members of the military and it’s been extremely rewarding for me to work with those members of the military I have mentored in the program and with the staff and entire MedTechVets organization.
I have had the pleasure of working with and being a mentor with this nonprofit for the past couple of years. The benefit this program provides to our Veterans is top notch. As a Veteran myself I wish a program like this had of been available to me as I was leaving the security of the military. The speakers they host and the mentees they have in the academies both benefit from the relationships that are formed because of this group. I learned about MedTechVets through a military colleague of mine. The program didn’t disappoint and I’m very thankful for all of the pearls of wisdom, new connections, and a lifelong network. I was transitioning from AGR back to Traditional and I wanted to stay in the medical field. They taught me all about med device and the mentors were extremely helpful and responsive. Derek, Amy, Breanne, and Sarah make such an awesome A team. David Samara, Kelli, and Daniel Wood have been amazing mentors for me. This program has blown my mind and I’ve already recommended them to my other colleagues in the military.
MedTechVets is an organization that understands the concept of "Giving all you can." They continuously rally accomplished leaders in the medical device industry to mentor, coach, and network veterans. The staff and volunteers are mentors and peers for life. They provide this at no cost to the veteran, which allows it to become more of a camaraderie than a program.

With a virtual 7 week program called the Academy that focuses on professional development, career exploration, networking, job search tools and mentoring. The program is designed to empower veterans with the knowledge and tools they need when seeking corporate employment. The organization includes a wide range of industry leaders that volunteer their time as mentors throughout the process, meeting weekly with veterans to assist them on their journey.
