Mission: The mission of the medical foundation of central mississippi, inc. Is to serve the community through continuously improving quality care and effective use of education and technology in a personal and compassionate environment.
Programs: The medical foundation of central mississippi, inc. Provides quality medical healthcare regardless of race, creed, sex, national origin, handicap, or age. Although reimbursement for services is critical to the operation and stability of the medical foundation, it is recognized that not all individuals possess the ability to purchase health care services and healthcare education. Therefore in keeping with its commitment to serve all members of its community, the medical foundation provides free care and/or subsidized care where the need and/or an individual's inability to pay coexist; care provided to persons covered by governmental programs at below cost; and, health activities and programs to support the community. (see schedule o pg 30 for continuation)the medical foundation of central mississippi, inc. Operates 7 outpatient rehab clinics and 18 medical clinics, which include family medicine clinics, cardiology, neurology, and occupational medicine specialty clinics located throughout the jackson, mississippi metropolitan area. The foundation also provides benefits to the broader community in the areas of charitable donations and volunteer hours. The cost of providing these services in fiscal year 2017 was approximately $14,000.
