Over the 60 year history of this organization, they have put serving people and serving God at the forefront of all they do. I have been incredibly impressed with how they have evolved over the past ten years to not just provide services to hospitals and clinics, but truly come alongside to create sustainable strategies that will serve the people of Malawi, Kenya and more for the next many decades. They continue to partner with nursing schools to train and equip men and women to serve their communities as nurses... often times the nurse is the only medical professional available. Today, hundreds of people are serving patients throughout Haiti, Malawi, Kenya, DR Congo and in the middle east. I am honored to be associated with MBF!
MBF is an effective and innovative ministry that impacts thousands across the globe. I like that they focus on the development of local medical systems and expertise, without missing the spiritual side that can lead to the fullness of healing.
Traveling internationally with MBF to meet medical professionals at partner hospitals and clinics is incredibly powerful. While many doctors and nurses are young, they know the rich history of MBF's involvement over the past decades. Hearing firsthand how these mission facilities have impacted thousands of lives is something that will stay with me forever.
MBF is an exemplary organization that fosters sustainable change in Kenya, Malawi, DR Congo, and Haiti. Their unique approach of supporting their partners distinguishes them significantly from other organizations. Christian values enhance their mission, providing a foundation of integrity and compassion in their endeavors.
I have seen countless examples of the amazing work that MBF is doing. They are making strides unlike any other medical mission organization!! The commitment and compassion for the people they serve is unparalleled.
Review from Guidestar
Incredibly toxic work environment perpetuated by CEO. Unethical financial practices. Misrepresentation of programs to donors. Ineffective international partnerships. Lack of operating procedures. Does not practice the Christian values espoused as guiding the organization.
