Mission: Measurecamp san francisco, inc is formed to promote, educate, and boost the analytics and user experience community through community events and outreach. The goal is to help spread knowledge, promote conversation, and educate analytics and user experience professionals and enthusiasts. The beneficiaries will be both the accomplished analytics and user experience practitioners as well as people early on in their careers. By organizing community events and outreach focused on topics relevant to the community, the organization will help achieve its goals of knowledge sharing and promotion of the analytics and user experience industry
Programs: Measurecamp san francisco i was a great success. The event was held at the linkedin headquarters in san francisco on july 22, 2017. We featured 7 rooms and 8 available time slots, with over 50 sessions held. We had 120 attendees from various level of experience - from college students working on their data degrees, to industry veterans with 15+ years of experience. The amount of knowledge-sharing for our first event exceeded our expectations. 92% of attendees rated the event great or excellent with 97% likely to recommend it to their colleagues. The event focused on knowledge-sharing on topics ranging from analytics instrumentation, reporting and infrastructure to data science methodologies in practice. The attendees also had a lot of opportunities for networking as well as interact with the job board which had over 20 open positions posted. The attendee feedback was very positive on the amount they have learned and the practical lessons they can take and integrate into their work immediately. The great venue and the ample food and prizes contributed immensely to the the success of the event which would not have been possible without our great sponsors.
