I am a champion for this organization because they provide assistance for non traditional students and fill a need where there is a gap.
The McNair Foundation Incorporated is a great organization. They are assisting a group of students that are often overlooked. This really makes a difference in the community....a cause that needs to be supported. It's an opportunity to provide students with the help they need to further their education.
The perfect example of giving back. The McNair foundation made a donation to help my Mentoring Group The Men of Shaw on a field trip. Great people doing great things!

The McNair Foundation has given plenty to the Charlotte community. There are several organizations that service Charlotte but not as effective as the McNair Foundation. Being able to assist those young people with funds to help further there college careers is priceless.

I found the McNair Foundation to be critical for the growth of young black children. Especially students who come from low income family’s and students who desire to attend to college. Personally if it wasn’t for an HBCU accepting me and programs like the McNair Foundation I don’t know where I’d be. The McNair Foundation gives opportunities to students who want to attend college that need it the most.
The Mcnair foundation is truly a foundation dedicated to not only empowering youth to feel a since of pride in their heritage, but also a vehicle dedicated to helping youth earn a collegiate education. As a minister, I am constantly surrounded by youth that offer financial excuses as to why they cannot pursue a post high school education. In many cases, my deeper concern is that because these youth don't have the resources to help position them on a college campus, or just occupy their time with college level work, their environment eventually consumes them which also tends to cloud any hope they ever had of pursuing a college education.
The Mcnair foundation is important because it provides hope for a future and the tangible aspect of the needed funds for a post high school education. The foundation is actively providing scholarships; one of which was to Alexandrya Froneberger, so that means they are in the business of doing what they say they will do. We are living in a period where it sometimes seems as if integrity, hope, and positive action are hard to come by; but, the Mcnair Foundation appears to embody all three of these. I, without reservation, endorse the Mcnair Foundation and hope that they are able to receive any exposure possible.
