Causes: Human Services
Mission: Matthew 25 AIDS Services is dedicated to the mission to treat, support, and educate those infected with and affected by HIV/AIDS. We recognize that HIV/AIDS is a real disease affecting real people.
Results: Matthew 25 AIDS Services regularly serves over 600 patients across 25 counties in Kentucky and 12 in Indiana with a variety of grant and donation-funded resources. Through our efforts and the support of our followers, Matthew 25 AIDS Services is proud to boast that approximately 93% of all patients are virally suppressed and have an undetectable viral load--meaning that they are receiving effective treatment to prevent HIV from both harming them as well as being spread.
Target demographics: Those infected with or affected by HIV/AIDS and to educate the surrounding community.
Direct beneficiaries per year: Over 250 patients with free COVID safety kits across Kentucky and Indiana in 2020 and well over 300 patients with our food pantry services, 300+ with our HIV specialty care, and more.
Geographic areas served: Western Kentucky and Southwestern Indiana
Programs: Free HIV testing, HIV specialty care, prevention resources, mental health counseling, case management, a food pantry, and much, much more!
