community demonstration garden projects - assisted a number of gardens with expertise, labor and supplies. Most of these are demonstration gardens, focusing on native plants, historical nature, species development and environment protection.
community education: provided higher education scholarships, adult activities to further subject knowledge (book club, lunch and learn, and gardeners' night out), supported schools with junior master gardener programs, garden supplies to other schools, and supported other school garden activities.
