Mission: Currently in Massachusetts there are over 10,500 families who experience homeless each year and 40,000 school-aged children on any given day that don't have a place to call home. Each day thousands of individuals and families experience homelessness, and the current age of a homeless person in Massachusetts is 8 years old. The Coalition believes that prevention is the key to ending homelessness through the HomeLink Initiative, the Furniture Bank, and education the Coalition works each day to eradicate homelessness from the Commonwealth.
