Causes: Health, Health Care, Health Support
Mission: The Masonic Blood Donor Club started in Southeaster Pennsylvania. We have since expanded to cover the entire state of Pennsylvania. We encourage Masonic related organizations (Lodge, Shrine, Scottish Rite, Eastern Star, Amaranth, White Shrine and other ladies affiliated organizations, York Rite and other mens affiliated organizations and all youth organizations affiliated with the Pennsylvania Youth Foundation) to sponsor bloodmobiles in their community and to encourage blood donations from their members. We advertise these bloodmobiles in the local newspaper to get community involvement. We also encourage our members to sign an organ donor card. This effort produces many thousands of donated blood each year. We are supported entirely by voluntary donations. All work is done by volunteers.
