Causes: Religion, Religion-Related, Religious Radio, Roman Catholic
Mission: Mary’s Touch is an inspiration and prayer ministry committed to the teachings and values of the Catholic Church; established with the goal of advancing knowledge of and comfort from the intercessions of our Blessed Mother. Our outreach program is the Frontline Faith Project. Imagine facing one of the most difficult, lonely, and challenging times of your life, and finding yourself cut off from spiritual support and Christian community. This is the experience of many of our hundreds of thousands service men and women. Sometimes our Soldiers, Airmen, Sailors, Guardsmen, and Marines can go for weeks, months, even an entire tour of duty, without attending a worship service or hearing words of comfort from a chaplain. To help provide spiritual nourishment, Frontline Faith distributes free MP3 players—pre-programmed with spiritual content—to military men and women throughout the world. Results: Mary’s Touch, Inc. was established in 2006 as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. In May 2007, the production of the Mary’s Touch Catholic radio program began. Later that same year, Mary’s Touch was blessed with an ecclesiastical approbation from the Most Reverend Gregory M. Aymond, Bishop of Austin. The inspirational 30-minute independent Catholic radio program is aired from over 200 radio stations across the United States and available worldwide via the Internet. In October 2008, Mary’s Touch radio program was honored by the Catholic Academy for Communication Arts Professions with a Gabriel Award for excellence in religious radio programming. On December 8, 2008, Mary’s Touch was consecrated to the Immaculate Heart of our Heavenly Mother. In 2009, the Frontline Faith Project was created. In 2013, Mary's Touch was named one of the top five Catholic radio programs by the Reader's Choice Awards. In 2016, we are celebrating our 10th Anniversary and to honor this blessing, we have joined efforts with Pope Francis to observe of an “extraordinary Holy Year”—a Jubilee of Mercy, which commences on our Blessed Mother’s feast, the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception, December 8, 2015 and runs through November 2016. We have dedicated Mary’s Touch to our Mother of Mercy.

Programs: 1) The production of Mary’s Touch, an award-winning, inspirational radio program designed to bring a greater understanding of Mary, to remind us of Our Blessed Mother’s loving presence in our lives, and help us recognize the healing grace she still brings to this world. We give her every story, every show, every heart who speaks of her loving intercession; and every heart that upon hearing of her gracious love is moved to offer itself into her loving embrace. 2) The Frontline Faith Project is an outreach program that provides MP3 players filled with over 7 hours of spiritual content to our military. These players are distributed free of charge to our Armed Forces. We help address the spiritual needs of all people serving in the military.
