Mission: The maryland/israel development center is a non-profit membership organization that promotes trade and investment between maryland and israeli companies. Midc provides educational programs about the economies of the state of maryland and israel.
Programs: Governor's trade mission trip - governor's trade mission to israel to promote the state of maryland to israeli companies and help maryland companies learn about business in israel.
business development/ community development/memberships - the midc has an alliance with other organizations with the mission of helping create jobs in both maryland and israeli communities by promoting bi-lateral trade and investment. The midc has a membership program to provide maryland companies with access to israeli firms who wish to interact through economic, scientific and /or technological collaboration.
midc showcase & other activities - the midc organizes a series of events each year about israel's economy and high tech business development. The annual showcase attracted over 30 israeli companies and 180 participants. Its smaller business briefings often attact 50 or more people to learn about specific israeli businesses or technologies.
