Mission: The martha's vineyard shellfish group, a non-profit consortium of the shellfish departments of six island towns, provides shellfish propagation services to increase the availability of juvenile commercially valuable molluscan shellfish (seed) for wildstock enhancement on the island of martha's vineyard.
Programs: Seeding and testing of shellfish beds, hatchery program education and training of shellfish constables as well as the general public of participating towns.
