Marlokai is a top notch rescue and sanctuary for horses. The care, concern and compassion the give each horse is so far above and beyond. The horses are well cared for and well loved. Marlokai is just amazing!!!!!!

Marlokai was amazing with our seniors. They were kind and helpful and the seniors that came for the program, were so happy. We painted pumpkins and pet the horses. Their smiles shined throughout the day!

The staff at Marlokai are caring, compassion, and understanding when working with different populations and the needs of the community. They are willing to go out of their way to accommodate all learning styles and different schedules to provide a positive experience. The are continually listening to the public and developing different groups to meet the needs of different populations and organizations such as the Alzheimer and Dementia Resource Center, Shelter Island Senior Center, various assisted living facilities, and children and adults with special needs.

They are all about the horses. They give back to the community through various therapeutic programs and events.
