I was involved in volunteer ministry for more than 25 years before learning of the Marked Men for Christ 44-hour weekend experience. I helped build a church from around 50 people to well over 1,000, served on multiple charity boards and even did urban and pseudo-urban outreach evangelism to teens for two decades... I've attended every type of conference and "meeting" you can imagine. ...But nothing compared to the weekend experience.

I was able to share it with two friends and my 18 year old son at the time and all are strong, active faith-filled people who serve Jesus daily with their life and mission.

If you are looking for a lecture series or a place where you can sit and be taught, this is not for you. It's no seminary and not a pulpit-centered experience. This weekend is one where you are asked to dig deep and work on your stuff while seeking to see where Jesus is wanting to be involved.

If you jump in with both feet and trust the other men there, you will walk away refreshed, restored and connected "in, up and out" like never before.

As of today, I've traveled 25,000+ miles on my own dime and paid thousands of dollars to *volunteer* at these weekends to help other men experience what I know God has in store for them if they attend.

Additionally, there are follow-up opportunities after the weekend that help keep me connected, transparent, authentic and in constant contact with Jesus and my fellow brothers in the faith. All optional, of course but if you are serious about your walk with Jesus, you would be crazy to not give these opportunities a shot.

For my personal friends, I've offered a "money back guarantee" that says if they don't enjoy the weekend experience, I'll refund all their costs that were associated with attending. Somewhere around 20 friends have attended at this point and I've not refunded a penny yet. Some were 18, some were 70... Some where white, black, Hispanic, Asian... Some were Baptist, Catholic, Pentecostal... Because this event is about Jesus and what goes on in our hearts, it transcends the denominational barriers that exist with other events. It's listed as "protestant" but I think a better description would be "For Those Seeking Jesus Regardless..."

I have just come home from a phase 1 44 hour weekend. It starts off a little strange, given people’s untrusting nature to begin with. As the weekend progresses, it becomes more apparent that these are good men with good intentions. You dig deep within yourself to identify wounds you may not consider to share with anyone, ever. You develop a brotherhood with others if you allow yourself to be true. Overall, great weekend. If you are looking for superficial and “fun”, this might not be the place to go.

I attended a marked men phase one retreat, and although it claims to build men for Jesus, there is very little reflection on Jesus at all. The scriptures used are never more than a verse or two at a time, usually not explained well, and typically used out of context. If you are looking for an emotional weekend that will help you identify some issues in your life, this weekend could be profitable. If you'd like to know Jesus better or desire to use your Bible at all, look for another retreat.

We recognize and embrace all Christian men who are in need of strengthening of their faith walk as disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ. MMFC ministry creates a safe environment where men can experience the emptying of their brokenness and then receive the healing and grace offered by the Holy Spirit. And then, the men are blessed and affirmed in their life mission!
There are 4-steps to MMFC ministry:
Phase I: Marked Men For Christ ministry Phase 1 Weekend ™ -- a 44-hour experience
MMFC ministry is a transformational experience that enables a man to have; “less of me, and MORE of JESUS” in their heart and mind. Our mission is to help heal and strengthen men who follow Jesus Christ, regardless of their church or denomination. In a prayerful atmosphere of trust, openness, safety and strong masculine support, Marked Men For Christ ministry helps each man bind his own personal wounds to those of Jesus Christ. Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life, in the acceptance that, "By His wounds we are healed." (1Peter 2:25). Men will experience the gift of Wisdom, Mission and knowing how BLESSED (equipped) that they are to live their lives as men in-service to others! The cost is $225 or whatever you can afford…everyone is welcome regardless of their financial capabilities.

Phase II: 10-weeks of facilitated follow-up in small groups – post your weekend
Includes: accountability + bible study + strengthening exercises (inside-out)

Phase III: On-Going soul work (small groups) with a “band of brothers” committed to becoming stronger men for Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior!

Phase IV: Service. Be in service to your local church and volunteer as an MMFC ministry staff man
