I have personally seen this fund give individuals the opportunity to recover from their substance abuse problems by allowing them to participate in a robust treatment program. It is amazing to see the gratitude in individuals who did not think it was possible for them to be free from substance abuse because they felt they could not afford any real opportunity to recover but were given a scholarship and took full advantage of the benefits.
