Workers from this organization have made two trips to Africa each year to install shallow wells in remote villages, primarily in Malawi. Churches and individual donors can sponsor a well for $350, the low amount made possible by the work of the villagers in preparation and building, and the simplicity of the design - no electricity, but far better than drawing water from a dirty river. Their goal last year was 1000 shallow wells.
