My uncle recently passed away. He had been sick for a very long time and no matter how hard we tried, the obstacles he faced seemed to always feel insurmountable. The system was failing him, then Maribo Cares came in. From the moment Marisa offered their help, my uncle had a place to stay, regular check-ins, and so much support. He felt like someone cared. We felt seen and heard, which is so vital to fighting this illness and not wanting to give up. My uncle Steve ended up requiring hospice care and passed away a few weeks later, but I truly believe that he wouldn't have had the level of love and care that he received if not for Marisa. Maribo Cares is genuine and kind and I highly recommend this organization to anyone who is in need of the kind of help they provide. Thank you!
I have been working with Maribo Cares since October 2018 and I believe in what it offers. Many patients are dealing with the cost of chemotherapy or radiation and it is important to have the support that Maribo Cares offers. I offer social media consulting to Maribo Cares to bring an online presence and create awareness. I knew I wanted to get involved because I have had family members and friends with cancer and I also knit hats for cancer patients. I hope that Maribo Cares is present in all hospitals and more businesses partner with such a great cause.
Maribo Cares is a non profit organization helping people with needs that are not met during cancer. Marisa is a sweet genuine person. Helping others is something Marisa has always done. Maribo Cares is compassionate and strives to meet your needs.
Maribo Cares is a great cause. I met the founder, Marisa Bock, in 2014 because they needed graphic design help for their logos. After speaking with Marisa, I was deeply touched by her story and the mission of Maribo Cares. I was and have been more than happy to donate my time and talent to this wonderful organization. I would highly recommend this non-profit to anyone dealing with cancer and in need of services. Scott (from Fullerton)
