Mariaz Hope Foundation Inc

I have continued to participate in many of the programs offered and in being a volunteer with Maria’Z Hope since it’s beginnings. Many of us are struggling financially due to illness so it’s really helpful to be able to attend valuable programs at no charge. Rita and her family work tirelesssly with such caring hearts to help the participants. My life is certainly better for being involved in this organization and it’s programs!

I do not think that there are enough words or enough space to properly address this wonderful organization. As children, we are free to run and laugh and live without a care in the world. We meet people and play with them. Our days are spent in fairy tales and we fly off to our make-believe land. We smile at the children on the bus and run out to join the kids for a game of hopscotch. As adults, things get a bit more difficult yet we still cherish those childhood memorizes and if we are lucky enough, we still keep our friends. I cannot say enough about Rita Zuccala- Mahoney and this incredible organization. Although I attended the fundraiser and it was absolutely amazing, there is so much that goes on each and every single day. Rita, her family, the volunteers, and everyone involved plays such a huge part in helping those who are facing difficult times. From nutrition classes to alternative treatments, there is no better foundation than this one. I highly encourage you to take a moment to read about these inspiring folks and how about volunteering your time to help those who could use an extra hand? This organization not only helps others but does it with true compassion, heart and dedication. I truly admire all the hard work and long hours that these women put in to make this foundation a huge success. My mom loved being a volunteer, and now I love volunteering in her honor and for all the cancer thrives out there. These women are not just amazing people but they are amazing friends!!

Wonderful organization. Does so much great work to help in important ways that sometimes get overlooked when someone is diagnosed with a life changing illness.

I didn’t not have the honor of knowing Maria but through many community events I did get to know her dedicated and selfless sister, Rita.
Rita goes above and beyond to help so many in our community every single day. Her amazing husband, children and family are always giving to others as automatically as humans breathe. The Maria Z foundation is a blessing to so many!

There are few "non-profits" I trust. You need to research the percentage of every dollar donated that goes to the charity versus overhead and salaries. Maria'z is committed to helping cancer research and nothing else. They are a worthy cause, honoring a beautiful person. They provide assistance for new and experimental treatments that most insurance will not cover.

Such a wonderful organization in honor of an amazing woman who touched so many lives.
Maria Zuccala-Burke was a beautiful, strong, kind hearted soul who lived her life always helping others. She was called to heaven several years ago after a long, courageous battle with cancer.
Maria will always be in our hearts and her mission of help, support, and love continues through her beautiful family and the Maria'Z Hope Foundation.

I've had the privilege of knowing Maria myself and know she would be very PROUD of the work her family and friends are doing. She would have definitely been one of the essential volunteers. All the women and men who donate their time to this cause really have it in their hearts and minds to help. I pray that none of us ever need their help but if we do I'm confident they would be there. Everyone that you meet between the leaders and the individuals that are there for support are very welcoming and warm. Maria Z Hope is a wonderful organization. The organizers are so caring and compassionate and work tirelessly to help those with cancer to improve their lives. I have participated in Nutrition classes and more recently a writing group that have been life changing. I highly recommend this organization to anyone who is struggling during or after treatment.

I am very thankful to be part of this wonderful organization. The foundation offers a writing therapy class that I belong to and love. I also attended an eight week nutrition class and feel blessed knowing I could attend without worrying about paying a large fee to attend. Many survivors can't afford nutritionist because they are busy paying medical bills off. Knowing that the foundation is part of my community I can't thank them enough for inviting me to be part of it.

I can't tell you what a pleasure it is to get to know the leaders and people being sponsored within this group. It's so refreshing to see money from our local area stay IN our area, and help the women right here in front of us. This organization is a forerunner of its kind; helping people from all walks of life, with all types of diseases, and helps them all gain support and knowledge in holistic healing, as well as finding strength within themselves and knowing they aren't alone in their battles. What a truly inspirational organization!
