I inquired about adopting one if their adult cats who needed a home. I previously had found a cat on Rehome that ended up with diabetes. The previous owners didn't want it back so we together decided to put the elder cat down and I really needed another companion. The lady vilified me for my gut retching mercy and financial decision I made with the previous owners. She made me feel ugly and I grieved all over again. The owner of this shelter has no compassion. And watch out, she proselytizes her own beliefs of pet care. Run to another adoption rescue. This one is offensive.
