The academy seeks to narrow the educational gap that high potential, low opportunity boys in america often experience.
Programs: The male leadership academy of charlotte is an all-male school which seeks to narrow the educational gap that high potential, low opportunity boys in america often experience. The academy officially opened its doors to its first class of students in august 2012 with a starting class of kindergarten to third grade. This year it added fifth grade with a plan of adding one additional grade level every year until covering all grades k-12.
