As and tenured Alorica employee I have seen this program help individuals and groups during the times when they need the most help. We had an amazing individual who had a fire in their home and through the MLBA we were able to support them with support them in this time with financial aid. This is only the tip of the iceberg on the number of lives we have been able to positively help. I also love all the charities MLBA has partnered with in local communities. This is a part of our culture as a company and caring for our employees and our communities will always be our focus.

It’s been amazing to hear such positive testimonies from those impacted by MLBA. It truly warms my heart to see how dedicated this nonprofit is to helping others. I have donated to Making Live Better with Alorica for 4 years now. I have seen this organization help people I work with in their time of need. I know my money is directly helping the community in which I work. I love that I can contribute directly from my pay. I have confidence that my donation is making a difference. I see it, I witness it, and I feel the strong community this charity has created in my workplace.

As a board member, you get to see first hand the impact that MLBA makes on the lives of the people, communities and organizations we serve. Being able to help families get back on their feet after a natural disaster, or helping a single parent avoid homelessness is one of the greatest things I have been apart of as a board member. We help kids get prepared to go back to school by raising funds, school supplies and toiletry items to ensure they have what they need to be successful during their school year. " Making Lives Better" is EXACTLY what we do. One of the coolest things about MLBA is that the money that is raised for each specific MLBA chapter (Which is over 55 GLOBALLY) stays within that chapter - which is unlike any other non profit that I have ever been apart of. So the funds that are raised in North Carolina stay in North Carolina and the funds raised in Texas stay in Texas - unless that individual chapter needs help. We have a thorough application and vetting process, and every decision is made by a majority vote. When everybody went to working at home MLBA quickly adapted and made significant improvements to fundraising. The Executive Board leads trainings monthly, as well as the Program Admin's are involved with each chapter on a very regular basis. This Non-Profit is unlike any I have ever been apart of and its what keeps me coming back every day to help those in need.

I currently support this nonprofit and have served on the board. This nonprofit works hard to serve the community with time and financially. While it is typically small awards, I've seen it be highly impactful for individuals. The group helps with everything from funeral costs to helping prevent homelessness.

Through the Alorica Comms, I was able to read on how MLBA has touched lives of Alorica employees. This is the reason I decided to become a regular donor.

MLBA played a pivotal role in transforming the lives of my friends and their loved ones by providing essential financial aid that significantly bolstered their ability to meet their medical needs. Through MLBA's unwavering support, my friends and their family gained access to the crucial medical treatments and interventions they required, allowing them to navigate their health challenges with renewed hope and resilience. The assistance provided by MLBA not only eased the burden of medical expenses but also demonstrated the profound impact that collective efforts can have on enhancing the well-being and quality of life for individuals in need.

When my dad died, I really had no extra cash in the bank since it all went to his hospital bills. When he finally died, I asked for help since I was working under Alorica at the time. I filled out the MLBA form and followed up on the status constantly. Weeks turned into months with no word from MLBA. This program is as useless as dog excrement. Better shut down the program and focus your resources somewhere else. All you see on the reviews page are the good stories, the 5-star reviews. They dont show you all the bad reviews. clearly biased

It's always awesome to see children smiling every time we join MLBA on the outreach programs. Happy to know that my donations are really shared to our communities.

Being a member of the board I see first hand how much of a difference MLBA makes in the lives of others. MLBA has helped agents to pay for funeral expenses and medical bills to name a few things. I've seen how much better the agents who have received these grants has become.

I've been proudly contributing to MLBA from my paycheck for years and have witnessed the many ways the nonprofit comes together to assist individuals, their families, and their communities in times of need. The organization also offers many options for people to connect and participate, creating its own global community of giving, so to speak.

I was in need of assistance for a major surgery. The application process was easy and they were so wonderful to work with. They did not make me feel bad for requiring assistance. They were so positive and full of well wishes

after a preterm birth at 31 weeks by baby needed special formula and it was hard to find, also my little family was having financial struggles since a premature baby needs a lot of medical care. MLBA provided help with the special formula for our baby boy and he could continue being feed with it and get the benefits and vitamins he needed. we are really thankful with MLBA and now that we have the opportunity we help donating.

I was a board member in Tampa. It was humbling and heartwarming to be on the board and see all the adults, children and even animals we were able to help. Magical experience. I would definitely be on the board again.

Making Lives Better With Alorica does its best to provide supplemental income and overall support for members who may be in more need than others. The consistent fundraising for the others around us brings a good atmosphere of knowing everyone is willing to help one another in times where we need it the most. There should be much more emphasis on community and gathering with events in the future, maybe some company sponsored raffles or auctions would be amazing to participate in!! :)

I have had the pleasure of being part of MLBA for many years but serving on the board for the last two years. I’ve had the privilege of serving as an MLBA board member for several years at two different chapters. During this time, MLBA has helped countless individuals during their time of need while making profoundly positive impacts in local communities. Truly an inspiring and rewarding organization to be a part of.

My son and I were living in a hotel for a while then he stopped receiving his SSI payments …got into our new home needed help with rent since his SSI is still under review . I needed a break to catch up on things. They paid my rent for me and I was able to buy my son school clothes and buy food . I’m currently caught up on things thanks to their help. I’m so very thankful for this they saved us from doing without food as clothes .

I cannot thank Making Lives Better with Alorica (MLBA) enough for the incredible support they provided me with not once but twice. This non-profit organization saved my life, and I am forever grateful to them. The quickness of their service and the friendly staff made the process so much easier for me, and I felt supported every step of the way.

Mlba has really helped my family and I. We were living in a hotel ,while awaiting approval for a permanent home . We ran out of funds due to no longer being able to work from home and they assisted us with a payment towards room that will cover us well over a month.We are very grateful.

MLB to the rescue a 2nd time!!!! Amazing teamwork to help me this time, move on very short notice. Due to some medical conditions and very unexpected financial changes both times my back was all the way to the wall. This is a caring and efficient group who while being professional really listen to and try to feel your "struggle is real"!! Donate to MLB because hopefully you or family won't need them but if you do, their "certified". My dog Slack was getting worried toward the end also .

MLBA is incredible! Her work helping people in need or working with allied foundations is magnificent, knowing that she has wanted to expand to help more people seems fabulous, working as a volunteer with MLBA has taught me too much about everything we can do for others.

I have been a Board Member for MLBA for a year or so now. In the past year, we have helped thousands of Alorica employees and their communities. The stories we receive really show you how much good MLBA does. Most of the time, our grantees have no where else to turn. They are about to be evicted or they don't have enough money to provide food for their children. Maybe they tragically lost a family member and now have to come up with the money to honor their dead while grieving. Some grantees have been living without electricity or running water or a natural disaster destroyed their home. When you see these people who have hit rock bottom and even a small amount from MLBA truly transforms their life, you know MLBA is is a non-profit worth donating to.

MLBA also brings communities together. Alorica employees volunteer their time to make a difference in their community. They hold school supply drives for local underserved schools, they volunteer at hospitals and elder care facilities, they give food and first aid supplies to children in need and more. The best part of MLBA is Alorica pays for the administrative fees of running the non-profit so 100% of the donations received go towards real people in need. Local chapters get to decide where these donations would be best used and grant funds to the causes that matter most to them.

Every day I am amazed at the impact MLBA makes and so proud to be a part of this incredible organization.

Being part of the Palenque chapter in Guadalajara Mexico has been a very satisfying experience since it has helped me get out of the bubble I was in and see beyond that there are needs in different social groups, which we have had the opportunity to support even during the time that the Covid impacted us giving us lessons of life and unity.

I've been involved with MLBA since I start my journey with this company, I'm leading the program for my committee and supervising my country (Mexico) and it's been an insanely great experience full of peace and gratitude, just to know how little actions turn into huge impact from our people and our communities is something that makes feel very proud and happy every day that I came to work.

Wow were so I begin, my family consists of 6 people myself my husband and our beautiful 4 children all age 5 and down. We have had some huge blows in the past two years I mean you name it’s probably happened to us sadly. We have been so fortunate and blessed to make it this far and we have been trying to truly rebuild ourselves and get back on track with everything. We aren’t usually the type to ask for help but when your back is against the wall and nothing seems to go right for you when your trying and doing all you can you eventually have to put your pride to the side and ask for help. I’m so thankful that we were able to work with an employee named Celeste Prague, she was amazing she was urgent about everything and truly cared about our situation and making sure also we would be able to self sustain on our own if we did receive help from MLBA. She listened to me and was very just open minded and caring and made me feel completely comfortable and like my family mattered. I would definitely like to thank her and everyone who is apart of this program and everyone who contributed to helping me my family no longer have to panic and face homelessness. We can’t say enough how grateful we are and how much this meant to our family! Thank You everyone so so so very much!

I work in Employee Experience, where I always want to help people. Working on MLBA gives me an opportunity to help people who are in difficult situations and make it better for them. It feels good when we can make a real difference in people's lives and am grateful to be part of that.

I have been a board member for our Joplin location for a few years and I have to note that helping those in need has more value than any paycheck I earn. The passion and ideas that are born from our group, from the planning of fund raisers, to the approval of financially being able to restore a missing light in others lives, make this part of my career one of the most valued positions that I'll ever hold. We truly make a difference and Make Lives Better.

I have been a Board Member of the Cutler Bay site since the beginning. I have always volunteered on other non profits that help the community yet I really wanted to be able to help those that I came in contact with. So when that opportunity came around through MLBA, I wanted to be apart of that. There is such a great feeling when you are able to tell a fellow employee that we are able to help them . The look in their eyes of appreciation that someone actually cares and is willing to help them get through the obstacle they were facing is a heart warming feeling. MLBA supported me after my home fire when I had no where to turn for help. At the time I was with Alorica-Miami Lakes for 5 months when an electric surge in my bedroom caused a spark setting my apartment on fire. I lost everything along with my 2 year old son belongings. Being new to a company I did not want to share that I had no support for the essentials to work or bring my son to school. My co-workers told me about MLBA and the out pouring of support came in right on time not only financially, but mentally. I was able to get that boost I needed to start over and I am forever grateful. This show of support prompted me to join MLBA to give other individuals that same support needed during a time of hardship. THANK YOU MLBA!!

As a volunteer, I've had the opportunity to look at life from different perspective; the ability to be part of something like Making Lives Better With Alorica has been extremely fulfilling and satisfying.

Being a part of the MLBA team has given me hope and ambition for a better tomorrow. Being able to tell someone that is struggling and in some cases feels hopeless that "We Can Help" and that "It's Going To Be Ok" is so rewarding and humbling. I am in a small community but surrounded by big struggles and to know that we are able to offer a way when there seems like none is life changing. Every grant is not just reviewed but prayed over. I love when someone has a financial need for something specific but we are able to review and collaborate to offer not just money but hope and a better life!

MLBA has made my life better in so many ways! Supporting MLBA as a volunteer member of my local chapter is deeply rewarding and an entirely unique experience for me during my 30+ years in this industry. Being in an environment where fellow team members support one another through giving time and resources and sharing burdens is very satisfying.

It has been an amazing experience to be part of our local MLBA committee. We have been able to help employees and community members in some of the most dire times of their life. The stories we encounter are sometimes hard to listen to and are often very sad, I would never personally be able to help as much as I would like to or as much as they need but as part of the MLBA I am empowered to change life's and positively impact the outcome of these situations. I enjoy being part of the San Antonio Woodway chapter. Helping people is near and dear to my heart so when I get a chance to help someone in need I feel like I am doing some good in the world. I have been a board member for going on 4 years and it is one of the most rewarding aspects of my job. I have been part of the MLBA NextGen Program for over 2 years now and I am so thankful for this organization. MLBA has give me the opportunity to give back to my community in a way that I never imagined. I am so thankful for the leadership skills that I have been able to gain through this program.

Who can you lean on when you’re in need? MLBA has taught me what it truly means for someone to lend a helping hand and be a shoulder to lean on. There are so many ways to evaluate a non-profit yet in the end there is really only one way to determine the success of a non profit, which is by measuring the positive impact they have on the cause the organization is designed to champion. In the case of MLBA, the countless heartfelt stories of people that were touched by MLBA and even lives potentially changed by what can only be described as a miracle.

The mortgages that have been paid, the life saving medical care that has been funded, providing the resources that were in need and realized fast; where there was no where else to turn there was MLBA. MLBA is successful because of the people who devot their time, knowledge, energy, and resources into this passion that they believe in. The cause, quick execution, and support received is what truly allows MLBA to make the tremendous impact they have made this far and continue to do so many others. I have never come across an organization that so selflessly gives of their time, energy and resources as MLBA. Whether it is to help an individual make their mortgage payment after someone in their family suddenly falls ill, or supplying underprivileged children with much needed school supplies, MLBA can and will find a way to help. They have created a network that identifies those that could use a little help and then draws from seemingly endless resources in order to offer solutions to difficult situations. MLBA figures out the best way to help and support those in need. No two predicaments are the same and MLBA treats each person or moment of need with personalized attention and care in order to offer the most appropriate solution. Making Lives Better With Alorica has changed my life. Through it, I have experienced the kindness of people day in and day out. I have seen communities bond together to assist in natural disaster. I have experienced others- who have their own personal struggles- offer to keep their neighbor housed. I have seen a woman who could not afford medical care lifted on the backs of volunteers and donors who gave passionately so that she could receive life-saving treatment. Person after person- whether volunteer, donor, grantee- make up an incomparable force. Now, as I write this review, I realize that it is my humble pleasure to be swept up in this wave of goodness. It has gifted me with perspective and purpose; it is truly an honor to be a partner amongst the thousands that continue to make lives better across the globe.

I have had the pleasure of watching MLBA's growth since its formation in 2015. In the past five years, I have personally witnessed how little acts of kindness can change the world. What surprises me most is how much people are willing to help, even if they themselves confront so many challenges. It makes me understand that compassion is born of seeing one another's humanity. I am willing to contribute my time and energy to others because I see that we are one and the same. When crisis affects one member of a community, it affects the entire community. When kindness touches one life, it touches others. It uplifts the mindset of an entire body. In the end, I am grateful to be part of an organization that encourages others to make lives better. I've had the pleasure of volunteering with MLBA for the past two years. It's such a great feeling supporting an organization that you truly believe in...one where you know your money is making a big difference in the lives of your colleagues around the world or the communities they live in. It's the kind of nonprofit that brings people closer and makes you want to do more. In the past few years, we've had the awesome opportunity of partnering with other orgs like Orangewood Foundation, Second Harvest Food Bank and Working Wardrobes. I'm constantly inspired by the stories of people who've overcome great suffering with strength and gratitude as well as those who gave to them with kindness and generosity.

I have volunteered with Making Lives Better With Alorica for almost 2 years. The opportunity to make a difference in our community is endless. I am particularly touched by how much those involved are willing to give. Even in their busy lives and tight budgets, those committed to MLBA go out of their way to help others.

The nonprofit focuses on helping one another through tough times. Everyone- at some time in their lives- faces hardships. As humans, we all carry difficulties that weigh us down. Whether its a losing a home or not having enough food to put on the table, the people of MLBA understand these struggles. So much so that when it feels like all hope is lost, MLBA reaches out a hand and picks our neighbors up.

As one of the Program Administrators for this Charity I can tell you this is by far the most rewarding job I have ever had. I am humbled every day by the generosity of the people I work with and the basic human needs that so many people struggle to be able to maintain for themselves and their families. Our program is there to help get people back on their feet and moving in the right financial direction again. I am so proud of the work our teams across the globe do to support their families and their communities and of the part I play in ensuring they have all the tools they need to get the job done.

MLBA is an outstanding organization. I love that I know where my $$ goes and that it supports the people I work with. Every $ is used to give a hand up to people that need it; none of the donations are used to pay salary or costs for administration.
It is special to be a part of such a unique program, where we can truly make a difference in our little corner of the universe!

On Sunday, September 10, 2017, Fort Myers took a direct hit from Hurricane Irma that made landfall just south of us as a category 4 with the eyewalls and eye passing right over us. Many of our employees and their families were majorly affected, from wind and debris damage, flooding and being without electricity for days and, in many cases, several weeks. We also had families that had evacuated and found themselves stranded with not enough money or gas to return. MLBA was prepared and had opened a Disaster Relief Fund for the affected local chapters to access and help our community. Within 3 days, the Fort Myers Chapter was already handing out gift cards to help our employees (before FEMA was even set up). However, it soon it became clear that we could not find enough gift cards in our area for Global MLBA reach out to Chapters in other unaffected parts of the county and they stepped up, went to their local stores, purchased gift cards, and shipped them overnight to us. The Mobile, Alabama, and Pensacola, Florida, MLBA Chapters on their own collected supplies (water, batteries, canned food, diapers, baby formula, personal hygiene items, plus more). They filled a box truck and local Members from both chapters drove overnight with the truck and a car to Fort Myers to deliver the supplies by that Friday afternoon. Later, the MLBA Board even came in to lend their emotional support to all of us. In the end, we were able to help, in less than 30 days, over 250 people and families with over $40,000.00 of gift cards and supplies.
