We wanted to help with the overpopulation issue but had a traumatizing experience with the neuter of the feral kitten we rescued off the streets. Adopting through a rescue made sense due to the vetting process. We visited Magnolia’s Hope after following their page on social media. I, as the mother to a 4-person family, fell in love through photos with a female runt. When I met her in real time it felt like it was “meant to be”. The other 3 members of my family fell in love with a boy kitty. We already had one cat and two large breed dogs. Did we have room for 5 total animals? My husband said he would consider adopting two while I picked my jaw up from the floor. The rest is history. Magnolias Hope is hope personified. What would these felines (and sometimes canines through their food closet) do without the support of this amazing organization/group of people?! My family’s life is enriched with the addition of the two babies we adopted through this rescue and I like to think the same is true for the kitties. Thank you Magnolia’s Hope!!!

Just say that I have rescued many cats in the last 20 years, and worked with other rescues, but there is a huge difference between those and Magnolias hope Kittens. For starters, these people truly love each and every kitten. They spend a lot of time with each one making sure they are socialized with other kittens, cats, dogs and children. them, literally came in and played nicely with my other kittens and also my grandson within minutes They weren’t skittish, no growling or hissing and just fit right in to our family immediately. I had been looking for a little Siamese colored kitten (it did not have to be a Siamese cat I just like the white with black and it was my dream kitten) for several months through a rescue and I came across Magnolias Hope Kitten Rescue. They worked with me to find the perfect kitten for my home and showed me a sweet kitten that I just knew was perfect. To make it even better she also had a sister that she was bonded with! I was able to adopt both kittens and they’ve been inseparable ever since. They both were very healthy and appeared extremely well taken care of before adopting.
Magnolia’s Hope has worked diligently to provide rescue, care, and shelter for many kittens and cats who have been born to unspayed mothers, and cats who are abandoned, injured, and/or neglected. As a result, many have gone to loving, healthy homes instead of dying in the wild or being euthanized. I met them through a chance post on Facebook, met the director at a Walmart to purchase food to donate to the organization, and a relationship began that I continue to follow and support. Alicia is a wonderful human being!! She goes above and beyond running her rescue and cares immensely for ALL of the babies that she takes in! I adopted a baby from her and he is my feline best friend!! Any concerns I had in the beginning of him being shy, she gave me advice that helped me bring him out of his shell and now he is my shadow. Thank you Alicia for all that you do! It takes a lot of patience, love and money to run a rescue and you’re rocking it!!
As a fellow Rescuer I have seen and met many others in this field. I can honestly say that I haven’t had dealings with another rescue that is as organized, caring, clean, and ALWAYS put the well-being of the animals first and foremost. Not only animals in their care, but community cats as well. From holding a vaccine clinic, teaching other rescuers vital techniques for caring for neonatal kittens, to just being there to answer questions the community may have. I have met several of the fosters for Magnolias Hope and can say that they are just as caring and devoted to the wellbeing of the kittens as Alicia.
Adopted my precious munchkin from this rescue and the entire process was great from start to finish. Highly recommend them!
What Alicia does for not just the kitties, but the community is nothing short of amazing. She is an angel to all animals. I love her and her rescue so very much and would always recommend her. We've gotten several cats from her and they are all very very sweet and healthy. When my cat developed FIP, Alicia was a great resource to help me find treatment for our sweet Felix aka Soup!
Phenomenal rescue! They primarily rescue felines but when a puppy was hit by a car and nobody else would help - they stepped up. We followed the story and fell in love. Once this baby was ready we were lucky enough to adopt our sweet girl Doll from them. I can say they don’t rescue for a pat on the back but because of the love they have for some many animals in need.
Magnolia Hope is amazing! The love for little fur babies is definitely felt and noticed! Alicia is amazing and has a wonderful soul and heart! You definitely feel and know that she loves those babies from the bottom of her heart and they are so very well taken care of and loved unconditionally!
This is a wonderful rescue. She helps alot of people and alot of animals. She has a huge heart. If you are needing a rescue to donate to, this one should be your choice.
I’m a local and have contributed to many local rescues. The complete transparency of Magnolia’s is refreshing. I always want to be sure the ones I’m sending funds to are not only using the money properly, but that the animals are given the best of care. I can say that Magnolia’s exceeded my expectations! A lot of other rescues should take a lesson from them.
I want to scream AHHMAZING from the rooftops about this rescue. I have visited their facility and have seen the good works they are doing. I travelled from out of state to get my baby just because of the care and attention they give to these sweet babies. The director and fosters are in my opinion the best. I hope to get another baby from them as soon as my new home is complete.
I got my sweet fur baby from Magnolia’s Hope and they are amazing! You can definitely tell that they put time and love into each cat. The adoption process was very smooth and I was given a file of all my cat’s medical history. The coordinator communicated very clearly about her availability and the adoption fee. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a fur baby!
As someone who has done rescue in almost every aspect I can’t rave enough about Magnolias Hope Kitten Rescue. They not only go above and beyond for the kittens they take in but they continue to follow the journey of those they adopt out. They are a small nonprofit that receives nearly not enough help. But that doesn’t deter them. I have witnessed the Director spending her very own funds just to ensure these babies are taken care of. The pure heart this rescue puts into the community and the impact they are making is unprecedented.
Absolutely terrible experience with this rescue. I found three strays and they needed immediate assistance as they were neonatal and I work full-time. They are the only rescue who replied to my pleas for someone to take the kittens. Originally, I was pleased with their speed and efforts to fully understand the situation, environment, and efficient communication; within 30 hours of finding these kittens it looked like I had found them a great rescue to give them a proper chance at life….However, after the director and I attempted to set up a meeting, replies stopped. I checked in for over a week trying to complete this and get the kittens the best care with professionals who know what they are doing.
I understand that it’s kitten season and the foster parents are working hard, but I was told there was a spot for them. I reached out via Facebook to try and get some help, but it’s run by a foster and they couldn’t do anything but tell me to wait until the director felt better.
I NEVER heard back.
I never heard back from her or anyone taking over the role of intake of kittens. I am still so mad at this rescue because of the fact that I clearly stated multiple times I couldn’t reasonably care for them all long-term; I could keep them safe for a few days using friends and family to help watch them. It’s not the fault of the fosters who were trying to pick up slack. However, due to poor organization and improper safeties being in place for when someone like the director is ill, those three kittens I had could have been suffering and that possibility breaks my heart. Luckily, I have friends in nursing who took two of the kittens and I kept the third and they are all thriving.
I Have adopted two cats from Magnolias Hope Kitten Rescue. Their kittens are healthy, clean, happy and most of all they are loved. You can tell by their facility that they take the utmost care of the kitties. They’re always available to answer any questions or concerns you may have. When a kitten is adopted from them it is fully vetted, vaccinated , dewormed, on flea treatment, microchipped, and spayed/neutered so the adoptive parent doesn’t have to worry about anything but loving on their new family member. They also have a food bank for those who need a little extra help with food, litter, or even toys. I personally have been to two of their adoption events they hold several times a year. All in all, Magnolias Hope Kitten Rescue is where you’ll find the perfect kitty for you.

My sweet Link was adopted to some not great adopters. These people dumped the poor baby out on the streets. Starving and with no idea how to fend for himself. He was bottlefed as a baby. Well Magnolias Hope saved him, took him to the vet, paid for him to stay over night as they nursed him to as much health as they could. Got meds for him. Then turned around and adopted this baby to me. Since I had adopted another cat soon before and I got invested in this ones story. I took this baby with free meds and food. Continurd to nurse him to health. My family and I showed him love again. Got him to trust again. Now we wouldn't trade him for the world. They have huge hearts here! They care and the babies are well taken care of!!

We follow social media and it was breaking my heart seeing all of the kittens that needed a good home. We had adopted a kitten about a year prior that our neighbors found on the highway and his neuter experience was totally traumatizing so we decided we didn’t want to live through that again. I found out about Magnolia’s Hope through a local community page and started following them on social media thinking one day we might add to our animal family of two dogs and one cat (all rescues) knowing there was an added bonus that they spay/neuter the babies before you take them home. I kept my eye on kittens available for adoption (this was in November when it wasn’t so much “kitten season” but the influx of newborns was not diminishing ) and fell in love with a little girl tabby with very apparent Ms on her forehead. I filled out the paperwork and was approved so we set a time to go visit the rescue organization when all four family members could be present (hubby and two kids). I fell in love with this little girl just as much in person as I had when I first saw her picture. My family had other ideas. They all fell in love with a little black and white boy. I figured I would give in to make everyone else happy and not get my little girl when my husband surprisingly said “I wouldn’t be averse to taking two home”. After I picked my jaw up from the floor we went through the process of adopting. I am forever grateful to Magnolia’s Hope for the work they do rescuing these babies and setting them up for a life of success as well as pairing my family and I with two wonderful additions to our family. Kitty number one has accepted both babies and the dogs are completely fine with all three felines. One happy family. ❤️
This rescue goes beyond what others do. They take the sickest as those that they seem to have no hope. Our cat McKenna was one. Wound and severe infection. Require multiple medications and wound packing. They made sure she got the care she needed and took great care of her. She lives with her cat Dad and bother as a queen. The rescue communicated all she went through. We appreciated their transparency.
