A Christmas Wish" Prayer" For The Greatest Mom In The World!

First let us tell you a little bit about why we have the Greatest Mom In The World. Our mom tries to help everybody family members and friends. Our mom took in 3 of her God children for over a year and took care of them. She didn't ask for any money from anybody for help. My mom treated us the same. Our mom tells us that she loves us 2 to 3 times a day gives us hugs and kisses every night before we go to bed. As well as when we wake up in the morning. In Maryland our mom did volunteer work helping the homeless, the Step Ahead Program for children, every 2nd and 4th Sat and Sun we helped feed the homeless, she taught children how to read, took them out on outing. Our mom was also the Director of our church Youth Group the Assembly of the Saints for years. Our father sister and mom dead about a year a part she took in our cousin and raise him. Our mom's dad was sick, she took him in and took care of him too. While doing all of these things helping others, our father would fight our mom. She also worked as an GNA/CNA Hospice Care. She made a promise to her client that she wouldn't leave her. Our mom kept her promise to Mrs. Hayes, she dead in Jan and we moved in Feb to Alabama. Here our mom still tries to help others. She is a foster mom of 2 little girls, one in which she will be adopting, she goes back to court in Jan for her. This old man don't have insurance to get home care so our mom does it for free, she cooks for him, take him to doctor appointments, make sure he takes his meds, check his sugar, blood pressure and more. We could go on and on about how great our mom is but we think you get the message. We had an Home Invasion Last year, now we are too scare to stay at home without our mom. The Home Invasion changed our life. Our mom had a good job, but she had to leave it and take a job with less pay so she could be home with us. Our mom never does anything for herself she says helping others gives her a job that no price can be put on it. In a lot of ways. We don't sleep good anymore at night and we used to love it here before that happen. Now when we hear sounds or the next door neighbor dogs barking we get up. We used to takes family trips FL, go to see our grandma in Uniontown,AL, go to Mich go to the Henry Ford Memorial and sight seeking taking our foster sister with us.Our mom and grand mom are really close they talk everyday,sometimes twice a day, our grandma is old as well as sick. We missed last year Christmas being with her and our family down there. It looks like we are going to miss this Christmas too. We know that our mom is sad and hurt because even when we lived in Maryland we never missed Christmas and New Years with our mom and grandma being together. We just want our mom happy again have our mom and grandma back together For Christmas and New Years. A house that we can call home again. Our mom smiles and laugh but it not like it used to be before the Home Invasion a year ago next month. Our mom tells us not to be scare but we cant help it. Now let us tell you the reason why we are writing to you in Hope That You can ( will ) help our mom because she needs an investor. Also she can offer more foster children a loving home like we have and be able to adopt some more of them too. Though this is my first year being a recipient of the Magic Johnson Foundation scholarship, the opportunities that have come forth from being a member already have benefited me in so many differents aspects of my college career. Every summer there is scholarship conference for the scholars which is very uplifting. It gave me the opportunity to be around young people that share a common good, whether that may be attending to the needs of low-income communities or helping unprivilaged families suceed through tough times, all while attaining degrees for ourselves so that all of those options may be possible. The professionals that surround the scholars during the summer not only inspire us to be sucessful, but also make the possiblity of becoming a better person within a reasonable reach. Magic Johnson scholarship has by far been one of the most significant in my life. This program is definately worth every penny!
