Causes: Family Services, Human Services
Mission: We are all-volunteer staffed and distribute donated goods of essential items for parents to be able to take care of their children and themselves. We are completely supported by the generosity of others. We also make referrals to other agencies for assistance, and follow-up to ensure they received the support needed. We can come to home, school, clinic, public parking lots, etc. wherever is easy and most comfortable and convenient for the parent. We are not: a) pregnancy clinic b) drop-in center c) maternity home. All services are provided by outreach. No referral is needed to get help. Parents simply call and leave a message 24/7. The next available volunteer will respond to your call and bring you what you need.
Results: We "do small things with great love" to help families be able to take care of their children, secure/maintain a safe, stable living situation and move towards goals of self-sufficiency. Families stay connected to us during the rough times and we help them to navigate the systems of support.
