Causes: Developmentally Disabled Centers, Disabilities, Human Services
Mission: Our mission is to minister to and serve special needs adults and children who have developmental and physical disabilities. They are our congregation and we share god's love and care with them. We do this in many ways, including weekly bible studies, crafts and arts programs, provide meals, provide transportation and volunteer drivers for local assistance to our disabled adults and children to help them in their daily needs such as shopping and medical needs, as well as transportation for overnight and multi-day camping trips. We also organize group trips and provide transportation for trips to disneyland, other theme parks, beaches, and multi-day retreats to attend bible studies. We organize group classes and discussions concerning overcoming fears, provide specialized counseling for the special needs of adults and children with disabilities. Programs: Christianity programs: camp retreats in southern california for 50+ adults for a number of days and nights. Participants attended bible classes, worship services, classes for overcoming fears and challenges.
