Causes: Camps, Christianity, Religion, Religion-Related, Sports
Mission: To provide religious experiences that encourage faith formation, christian leadership development, and spiritual renewal through summer camp and retreat ministry through which our campers experience the church in a place apart; where god's presence is experienced, faith is renewed, christ's love is felt and the church is strengthened for the service and proclamation of the gospel.
Programs: Three outdoor ministry sites, kirchenwald, nawakwa, and wittel farm provide religious experiences and education through summer church camp programs and year round retreat ministry. Summer campers at kirchenwald: 700. Summer campers at nawakwa: 1112. Summer program participants at wittel farm: 48, in 3 groups. Congregational summer day campers: 63. Lcc is committed to providing summer camp experiences to children regardless of their financial situation and provided $33,953. 00 in campership support to 101 children from families requesting assistance. The retreat ministry serves churches, families, schools and other groups. Kirchenwald served 1,217 retreat guests at 63 retreats. 99 retreats held at nawakwa serving 3,551 guests. 199 guests attended 26 retreats at wittel farm. Additionally, lcc conducted 20 events which served 671 persons.
