Fabulous presentation! Very informative. My87-year old mother is still talking about it!
Lowcountry Raptors brought their beautiful birds to Marriott's Grande Ocean Resort where they gave an engaging and informative presentation. Afterwards they were so very patient and kind to my son with autism who had tons of questions and wanted to take close up pictures. It was truly one of the highlights of his vacation. Thank you!
Lowcountry Raptors is the best! The best way to learn about and see beautiful birds!
LowCountry Raptors has done wonderful work at our LowCountry Montessori School. Lila and her team have been so giving in visiting and teaching and the students love it. Clearly, she and those who work with her are deeply dedicated to these birds and to sharing and educating about them. The organization has been a constant presence at the Port Royal Farmer's Market were, literally, thousands have come in contact with these wondrous raptors and learned about them and their importance to our ecosystem.
Lowcountry Raptors visited Helena Place assisted living a couple of months ago and the residents (with dementia) are still talking about it. Great presentation, very informative!
I visited the Morris Foundation today and thoroughly enjoyed Lila Arnold's riveting talk about these amazing raptors. The audience was completely enthralled by the stories of how these beautiful birds were rescued, along with amazing facts about them. It was a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. It was very apparent that Ms. Arnold is committed to educating the public about these birds. Thank you! - Leslie Natoli, Bluffton, SC
I am the Activity Director at Bloom at Belfair in Bluffton, SC. The Raptors came to our community and gave a wonderfully informative presentation! My residents loved it!
I enjoy visiting with Lowcountry Raptors at the Port Royal Farmers' Market. It is impressive to see these amazing birds up close and learn more about them. I appreciate Lowcountry Raptors' dedication.
I am very thankful for the rescue efforts of this organization and the educational programs presented so that our youth can learn more and gain an appreciation of these beautiful raptors.
We are so THANKFUL for this organization! Lowcountry Raptors came to my child's kindergarten Halloween party and offered their time to share the beautiful birds with the kids- my sister also volunteers for them so it holds a very special place in our hearts!
This is a great organization not only for their educational programs, but for their live saving work with raptors that are injured an unable to be returned to the wild. They provide a safe living environment for these raptors that are blind or permanently injured and socialize them for use in these great educational programs.
Lowcountry Raptors presented a thorough program to students at our high school free of charge. The program was informative and students were thrilled to have an opportunity to see raptors up close. I personally have been impacted by having an opportunity to learn more about raptors and to share my love of birds with the public.
I'm a supporter of Low Country Raptors through donations. I have experienced the presentations through pictures & posts since I live a distance away. I truly believe that when children & even adults interact with wildlife, especially those with special needs they learn compassion & respect.
One of the Saturday highlights is visiting Lowcountry Raptors booth at Port Royal Farmers Market. The volunteers are exceptionally knowledgable and where else on earth can you get so close to a Raptor!?! It is exciting, thrilling and educational.
We attended a special event at our local library presented by Lowcountry Raptors. My children LOVED it. My son who has a sensory processing disorder sat the ENTIRE TIME!!! Listening and Learning. Whenever we go back to the library he will ask when the owls are coming back.
They are an amazing and deserving organization.
I thoroughly enjoyed your presentation at Port Royal Farmer's Market. Your volunteers were extremely knowledgeable about each bird of prey. It was truly magical to see each bird up close!
