Love Never Fails is truly changing lives in the greater Fort Worth area. Children are our future and LNF is strategic in how they go about reaching children and changing their lives academically and spiritually!
Love Never Fails is an awesome organization. I first became aware of it many years ago and I have been gladly donating on a monthly basis to this nonprofit that has changed so many young people's lives. Actually, after being a donor to World Vision for over twenty years I changed my monthly giving to LNFI. Both the US after-school program, the orphanage and their other endeavors in Mexico have done so much to make their respective communities better places for children at risk to live and grow. I fully expect this tremendous organization to grow in the future and ultimately become a national force in the lives of at risk children in need. Their "a hand up, not a hand out" approach is the most effective way to truly change lives.
LNFI is an AWESOME program! I've had the privileged to hear many testimonies of how the lives of these children have been changed through their after school programs. LNFI staff have a heart for these children. They are an amazing group of people who take the time out of their busy schedule to give these children a hand up!
Love Never Fails
LNFI has truly blessed many children. I have seen the love the directors and volunteers have for these children. I have two boys who volunteer for the summer camps they go on. They love sharing God's love to them. When they come home they tell me testimonies of children's lives being changed through this organization.
I volunteered for LNFI in 2014/2015 as a mentor in their after-school programs. What I love about this organization is its commitment to changing the lives of at-risk children by giving “a hand up not a hand out.” The staff and volunteers they have working in the programs are phenomenal. They are wonderful role models who carry out the vision of LNFI by building a positive relationship with each child. They give of their time, energy and heart. They are committed to seeing each child gets the attention and assistance they need not only academically, but socially, emotionally and spiritually as well. LNFI is definitely an organization that demonstrates God’s unfailing love. Mentoring in their after-school program was truly a life changing experience for me.
I have volunteered as a one-on-one mentor at LNFI for 5 years now and my mentee has changed my life! I have seen them grow through their ups and downs. It is the most rewarding experience I have been a part of. There are so many LNFI children in need of a positive, caring adult role model. I recommend this program and hope you will sign-up to be a part in some way! Love Never Fails
Love Never Fails International after school program is like no other!
It's a wonderful program for the children that get left behind. Grades improve for these kids with the help they receive from mentors and teachers. But, not only their grades, we see improvements in their attitudes which make a complete turn around. This is what makes LNFI such a great program. The teachers not only assist with the students academics, but they touch each child in a personal way. Their curriculum is fun and the kids love the attention they get from mentors and teachers. As a teacher working with LNFI, I have seen kids come into the program discouraged, angry, or upset after a long day of school. This program gives them a time to unwind and be welcomed with open arms, always ready to listen to a child when their world seems to be failing apart. LNFI is a fun and exciting program for at risk children who just need a hand up, not a hand out. carol Chavez
I first started going on a missionary trip down to Reynosa, Mexico in 2012 with my church and that was such a blessing and definitely an eye opener. Then this past summer 2015 I had the opportunity to work for LNFI in the after school program st JP Elde middle school and it has been such a great time spending time and growing closer to the kids. LNFI ROCKS!
Working with LNFI has been one of my best work experiences. The staff have a genuine love for the kids, and they always put their best effort into doing what will be best for the students. I worked with the middle school and their character development- the change in their hearts and attitudes, plus the relationships that were formed with the students was incredible to be apart of. The kids have the opportunity to do extra activists such as STEM, soccer, cooking, and flag football as well as doing college preparation, team building activists, kids in action, and blogging over the character trait for the month. This program is amazing and impacts these kids in an amazing way!
You will not find people that love children more than the Love Never Fails staff. I thoroughly enjoyed my time volunteering with the program.
This is an awesome program it is designed to help young children with their homework. There are other activities that the children are involved in reading science, math and cooking, with many more activity that's not included. The staff are awesome they keep the children involved and they challenge their minds. The after school program is a safe place to be and what you can learn from each other.
LNFI is the perfect setting to touch the hearts and minds of at-risk children. I'm a first year program director, yet I've already seen dramatic changes in my kids. The joy is evident when they walk in the room. The children know that they are coming into a safe and loving environment. It is an honor to work with these kids; and being able to tell them how important and exceptional they are is amazing.
This is my first year to work as a Director for Love Never Fails International. It's truly rewarding to see one of our at risk students come into the program, sullen and withdrawn, begin to slowly come out of his or her shell and begin to trust that someone cares about them. With nurturing, love, and support, these kids see improved grades, better social skills, and enjoy school more than they ever have. You can't ask for more than that.
I serve as a program director for Love Never Fails International at one of the elemetary schools where we work. I have got to witness firsthand the growth of these children as a result of the mentoring, tutoring, and love they receive each week. It is a deeply rewarding thing to watch a child come out of his or her shell, begin to open up, and blossom right in front of your eyes.
I recently saw a video of the orphanage Love Never Fails International sponsors in Reynosa, Mexico. It filled my heart with joy to see the children in classrooms, singing songs, and learning the alphabet. These beautiful children, who were once at the mercy of poverty, the Mexican sex trade, and drug cartels, are now safe. They are receiving three meals a day, medical care, and the education that will rescue them someday. LNFI also has an after school program in Fort Worth Texas that provides mentoring to at risk children. What an organization.
It is wonderful to see what an impact Love Never Fails is having in the lives of children. Most of us take for granted that someone loves us and wants to see us be successful. For some of these kids, Love Never Fails is the first time that someone has really and truly taken the time to invest in their lives - the first time someone has taken the time to help them with their homework and encourage them and teach them not just academics but life lessons that will follow them into adulthood. It is incalculable how great an impact love can have. These kids will look back some day and point to Love Never Fails as the turning point in their lives - the point where they started to believe that they are special and important and valuable and loved.
LNFI is impacting children's lives every day, both here in Texas and in Reynosa, Mexico. I love receiving their newsletter and reading story after story about how these troubled, at-risk children are literally being transformed into leaders among their peers. It amazes me to see what can happen to a child when he/she receives the love, encouragement, and help they so desperately need. God bless LNFI!
I have mentored the children in one of the elementary schools in the LNFI program and have found it very rewarding. These children respond well to the structured and loving environment provided by LNFI. They learn to accept responsibility for their actions and begin to treat others as they want to be treated. The LNFI program rewards their responsible actions with activities the children look forward to such as trips to local businesses and other events. The result is improved grades and a more loving interaction with the other children and the members of their families. These children crave the love and acceptance they receive from LNFI mentors and their lives are truly changed for the better.
I have been a donor to LNFI for over 6 years and participated as a counselor in their annual summer camp. I have witnessed the genuine love shown to these at risk children. I have also had the privaledge to hear from these children how LNFI has made a positive and lasting impact in their lives. The dedication and love the LNFI staff and volunteers have for at risk children and their families is absolutely inspiring and greatly admired. It is a joy and an honor to contribute to LNFI and th wonderful work they all do.
I have worked with or volunteered with "at risk" children and teens for 25 years. I recently moved to the Fort Worth area and found Love Never Fails International. I am so impressed with the work being done in elementary schools and with the quality of the staff and other volunteers. I believe that this organization can truly impact children and teens in a very positive way and I am thrilled to be a part of that process.
Each day, the group is well supervised. As a volunteer, I know what is expected of me. There are plenty of volunteers to help each child. The sharing and journaling time have good thought provoking questions and the discussion time is helpful. The children respond very well and have a good time.
The staff is consistant with leadership and discipline, and they genuinely love the children.
I am a newcomer, but I am looking forward to a long association with Love Never Fails International.
I donate to LNFI on a regular basis to help fund the work they do to mentor and encourage at-risk students. There is a great need to demonstrate to these children that someone cares about them. The volunteer mentors, under the direction of a LNFI director at each school, help these children deal with the issues they face in their lives as well as help them with their school subjects. They take them on field trips to businesses and other events to expose them to careers they have not had the opportunity to experience. I have personally visited one of the schools and shared my work experience with them. They were very interested and asked probing questions about specific aspects of the engineering tasks I perform at work. They are good children that just need some help and encouragement. LNFI is truly a worthy organization to support financially as well as become a volunteer mentor.
I served as community service coordinator for a college organization in the spring semester, 2011, and wanted to expand our project base. I came across Love Never Fails International, who already has deep connections with student volunteers at TCU. The Executive Director took time to speak with us personally about the mission of the organization, and we processed paperwork to get through. It was all worth it as soon as we made it to the elementary school for the first time! The students, LNFI staff and policies/programs are outstanding. Volunteers from my organization continued to go of their own accord after the semester ended. I can't say enough about what a blessing this dedicated organization is to the children of Fort Worth and its volunteer base!
This was my first year to mentor at Love Never Fails International. The connection between child and mentor gives us the ability to address the individual needs of the child.
After watching these youth it is evident that Love Never Fails does just that--shows love to each student. A trust develops and as a result, the children have the opportunity to resolve issues personal to them including reading skills, discipline to do homework, interaction and respect for others, expressing themselves.
LNFI changes lives! ..........the lives, the future and destinies of at risk children. This all happens because of the dedicated team that believes in the future of every child. They prove daily that Love Never Fails.
LNFI truly has the desire to see children sucessful in facing the many challenges life brings their way. This charity truly lives up to their name by loving these children and stays true to their 'moto', a Hand Up, Not a Hand Out."
We have volunteered with Love Never Fails International for the past three (3) years. We have seen significant improvement in academic skills such as reading ability and comprehension as well as social interaction.
One of the most rewarding experiences for us is being greeted by name when they come into the class room and at dissmissial time we are thanked verbaly and usually also with a hug.
We enjoy the the time we get to meet and socialize with the famlies. They in turn tell us of the positive changes in their children that they attribute to the Love Never Fails program.
We have been very impressed with the dedicartion of the Love Never Fails staff. They have a very positive and caring attitude toward the children and the mentors.
Love Never Fails is an organization devoted to giving underprivileged children the extra boost they need in order to be successful. I have volunteered with them multiple times and I've witnessed the changes in the children who come every week. It's such a breath of fresh air to see an organization work so hard and so selflessly in order to ensure a brighter future for students such as these. I volunteer at T. A. Sims elementary school, and in my experience, the children not only love the program, they are also exposed to many teachings that they wouldn't normally have in the schools they are in. Lessons are in friendship, leadership, and other topics that will allow them to greater succeed in later life. I personally believe that this organization is very successful and touches the lives of all who take part in it, students and volunteers alike.
