Love In Abundance, Inc.

Love in Abundance is an amazing organization for young women! Vickie does an excellent job of exposing these young ladies to a variety of areas to help prepare them for success in education and in life. She does a wonderful job of organizing activities to improve their self-confidence and boost their self-esteem. I was truly amazed by their talent during my time with them. I highly encourage that parents involve their young girls in her program!

I have known Vickie Gunnells-Hodge for many years! One of the things that I know about her is that she cares! I am very impressed with her work at Love In Abundance! To know Vickie, you have to know that she is a woman of great character; a businesswoman with integrity; a woman with a heart bigger than the state of Texas! What she gives cannot be quantified! I personally witnessed a situation with a young lady that, without the intervention of Love In Abundance, this young lady would be just another lost soul. Another statistic! Thank you Vickie Gunnells-Hodge for what you bring to the table! You bring much love! Actually, you bring love in abundance!!

Vickie has dedicated her time to these young ladies which is priceless. Time is one thing that we can't get back and when someone chooses to sacrifice time for others you know they are sincere. Her dedication has and will continue to touch the minds of these young ladies and give them the confidence needed to be very productive citizens. The opportunities that they are exposed to will catapult them to the next level. Love and Abundance is great for the community and these young ladies.

When I met Vickie at one of our Westchase Biz Zone's workshops, I was filled with joy as she expressed her passion for helping students prep for college and resolving other deficits that our youths are facing today. I highly recommend and support Love in Abundance because the programs are geared to make a postive impact in our youth's future . I want to thank you for stepping out on faith and having the courage to fulfill your mission.

I have had the absolute pleasure of serving the Lovely ladies of Love in Abundance, Inc. These ladies are not only beautiful and brilliant, but there is a light inside each of these ladies that I see. They have added to my life so much, just by being them, that I only want to encourage, Love, uplift and support them throughout their lives. Martin Luther King Jr. said in a parable of the Good Samaritan “The first question which the priest and the Levite asked was: "If I stop to help this man, what will happen to me?" But... the good Samaritan reversed the question: "If I do not stop to help this man, what will happen to him?"
Vickie takes these words to heart. What will happen to the children if we do not step in to help? This world is full of pitfalls and hazards. It is the training that you gain in your youth that helps you traverse these obstacles to be the person you were meant to be. Children that have not been dealt the best hand in life are at a higher risk of being in a negative situation. The job of a Good Samaritans like Vickie is to help build young people up.
Because she know that you can’t be strong if you’ve never seen strong, and you can’t speak truth if you have not heard true, and there’s no way to give love if you have never known love, or if you’ve never seen the power that love has to create, to transform, empower, and overcome your present situation. Love in Abundance encourages children to greatness, nurtures them to excellence and instructs them on delivering those skills to the world.
The question was: If I stop to help what will happen to me, and what will happen to them? I can tell you for a fact that if we are talking about Miss Gunnells-Hodge and her efforts, the answer to both questions is Love in Abundance.

Love In Abundance digs into the community to help young girls recognize their value in this world,as they realize & execute their potential. Vickie Gunnels-Hodge is making every effort to grow LIA, while helping as many young girls as possible. Thank you Love In Abundance for the loving the girls that otherwise are over-looked or forgotten.

What Mrs. Vickie-Gunnells Hodge does for under-privileged students is absolutely amazing! It gives every student, no matter their family's financial status, a chance at a great education. All educational resources are accessable to the Love In Abundance student. All students are enlightened on career choices and college majors. Mrs. Hodge makes the college application process much easier for the students lucky enough to be a member of the Love and Abundance family. I am proud to say that I am a part of something so wonderful!

I Have spoken with Vickie about her CAUSE and I really believe inthe facts that Human Potential is our most Valuable Capital Asset. I believe that when we show our youth that Integrity , Truth , Perseverance and Handwork is more valuable then doing things the easy way. Our Society be comes GREAT!!! Ms. Vickie is planting trees that will bear and abundance of fruit and shade. Keep up the Good Works.

I have connected with Vickie on several occasions. I have gotten to know more about what Love in Abundance does. I have seen the girls perform in a city-wide event and they were well poised. Vickie is more than passionate about the research she does to ensure that the young ladies in her program receive only the absolute best as far as preparation for their future. Due to her passion and diligence with Love in Abundance my company has shown support in any and every way we can to ensure this program stays around to help even more girls.

Love in Abundance (LIA) has serviced several groups of budding young ladies in Title One Schools by smartly and through research supplementing school objectives with strategic programs and other initiates to help these girls gain a higher sense of esteem and purpose.

It continues to empower many to pursue life altering paths. Knowing the director personally, I know her passion and personal life story, will continue to ensure the success of the program.

Its difficult to give short description of Love and Abundance because it is so needed in the community. I have known Vickie nearly three years and recently just understanding the asset young people have in the organization which provides needed direction. Coming from single parent background I have seen firsthand what bad choices lead to in the adolescent minority community. I have seen teens gravitate to her in gratitude publicly for time she takes with them. Nowadays children are not as easy to read but the thorough information I have seen children recieve clearly is utilized thus the response the teens have when they see her. Her work is truly invaluable if the less fortunate are really to have a chance of information access in the future.

I thank God for Love In Abundance and the opportunities afforded to young people because of its existence. We often give praise to those that have made above average grades and have been awarded academic scholarships because of it. But we just as often forget about that young girl who hasn't scored all A's and B's since her elementary days but yet and still aspires to achieve a better life than that of uneducated mother or father or older sister or brother; that young lady who seeks to not be a statistic as just another average high school graduate working that over-demanding job that pays less than it's worth. Love In Abundance is a company that considers that young woman's dreams of one day owning her very own company or working for a Fortune 500 Company and knows what it means to have a strong education backing her. I pray for nothing but success for Love In Abundance and Ms. Gunnells-Hodge! With her success will come the success of possibly thousands or even millions of other young people and will create and inspire an entire generation of greatness and potentially give way to innovation otherwise untapped.

It is very apparent that their is a great disparity in the public educational institutions throughout the United States. Unfortunately our children are the ones who will suffer because of this. Many of these children will turn out to become problems within our communities rather than being productive members of our society. But because of organizations like Love In Abundance (LIA), many of these kids have opportunities that otherwise would not have been afforded them. LIA has a program that prepares Middle school children for college. This programs restores hope to some of our children who wanted to go to college, but did not think that it would be available for them. This program helps these kids to see that not only is college a possibility for them, but it is also an opportunity for them to fulfill their dreams and goals. Mrs. Gunnells-Hodge, thank you and LIA for providing hope and giving our children a more positive outlook on life.

Love in Abundance is a great organization that really helps out kids in need. The children the organization works with are bright and talented and LIA nurtures them and gives them the tools they need to succeed. The College Must Begin in 8th Grade series is also a great tool to prepare kids for college, and getting them in the right mind frame educationally and mentally.

I am a firm believer in the fact that the internal culture of any organization is expressed outwardly in everything it does. With founder Vickie Gunnells-Hodge as the foundation of Love in Abundance (LIA), this organization reflects all that she believes in. Vickie's beliefs and words are put into action through services to children who are in families that are underprivileged or experiencing family separation or other issues.

LIA not only talks the talk, but walks the walk in helping the youth of our society to have equal opportunities in life, to be successful in college and in life. Vickie and LIA have been a blessing to many, and will continue to be an even bigger blessing to many more to come.

Love in Abundance has supplied a select group of Caraway's female students with many pre-college opportunities. Ms. Gunnells-Hodge operates a highly-professional organization by bringing a wealth of skill, resources and expertise to the table. Through participation in the program, students have been extended certain opportunities which may not have otherwise been afforded to them. Our students are happy to belong to such an organization that promotes high expectations for academic excellence, peer relations and community service.

As the Founder of Love In Abundance Vickie Gunnells-Hodge has not only touched the lives of young girls that have been a part of her program, she has made it a personal mission to reach these young ladies on level that they no only relate to but identify with. Vickie recognized early on that when you make the participants a part of the process, they really appreciate being included and being told what to do. Those young ladies know that they have in Vickie an advocate that will help them with whatever issue they may have which helps instill in them peace of mind to go forward in whatever they must deal with. We need more Vickies in our communities to help with our youth so that maybe they won't have a tendency to be lead astray.

Love and Abundance is an amazing organization. Seeing how young ladies are empowered not just through encouraging them to take a path towards college but to have a sense of self knowledge and confidence. This organization is all about service and helping young ladies and holding them to a higher standard

Love In Abundance is the real deal. It is what our students need in a world where the education system has become tangled in bureaucratic "red tape." It seems like the same laws and procedures used to help children (standardized tests, restrictions on teacher discipline, lack of prayer in the schools) are actually hurting them the most.

But an organization like Love In Abundance untangles our youth and gives them the freedom to be themselves, while respecting others.

I hope this program grows.

As a school administrator in Humble ISD and I witnessed the work of their youth in a conference. Love in Abundance provided quality learning activities and events that equip youth for responsible living. It was a priviledge to work with their youth and to see the students working in the program.
