When I first saw this charity it was at 10:00pm at night on a Sunday night I believe. I feel my heart sank and I was like oh my goodness I couldn’t believe that this was happen to people in Haiti so I really want to get to this charity and it was one of the best I ever spend my money on and time to and still until this day since I still try to give to this wonderful community. This Charity is wonderfully very generous of helping Haiti in so many ways that impact the village their with great resources like: educational resources, food, housing, water pump to give them clean water, providing them with hospitality for any needs they need, and providing spirituality in there lives to help them get back on their feet and get back on their own to help raise their families, take care of their children, and giving them peace and comfort everywhere they go. Thank you for your support. May God bless you and your family a thousand fold and more. Your donation is essential and to the cause of Haiti going through difficult times in life. Any Donation helps no matter how much your donation is it will help someone greatly. Have a wonderful rest of your year, Happy Holidays, Have a Happy New Year, Stay Safe and always Take Care Of Yourself You Are Very Important Also. Remember God is with you always and He loves you Greatly.
I former missionary nurse to Haiti and I can assure you that Love a Child ministries are tirelessly doing God’s work every day for the poorest of poor. My adonation today is given in memory of my daughter-in-law, Tina L. Tucker who loved all children. She had the most beautiful child, now a young lady, my granddaughter, Brittany. God bless you both.
My daughter's father is from Haiti. I get to see what goes on in Haiti. I know my support makes an impact.
As a sponsor of 2 LAC children can only say fantastic organisation!
I've read in some reviews that some here are upset about that Love a child is displaying too much of the lives of individuals in order to get founding, but I have to say only BECAUSE of these horrifying testimonies I began to see how urgent the need for help is and how bad it really is with the hunger crisis in Haiti.
This is the brutal reality and this needs to be shown so that people start to wake up and do something.
And yes, indeed a little goes a long way
They do so much! Not just a hand out, but they also give a hand up. God bless you Bobby and Sherry. Thank you for all that you do.
My family and I have been donors to Love A Child for many years and cannot say enough good things about the genuineness of the organization, and Bobby and Sherry’s selfless commitment to changing and saving children’s lives in Haiti. Their generous, kind-hearted spirits and unwavering devotion to those living in poverty in this struggling nation is truly admirable and praiseworthy.
I have supported many non-profit organizations both locally and nationally and not one holds a candle to Love A Child. I continue to be impressed, year after year, by their transparency and steadfast pledge to make the most of their donor’s contributions to further their mission of providing humanitarian relief to the poorest of the poor and working to spread the Word of God, showing Christ’s love by example. How remarkable is it that 94% of every donated $1 goes directly to providing live-saving food, medical care, housing, and a Christian education to literally thousands of children each year?
I feel privileged to be a Love A Child partner and thank Bobby and Sherry for being my “hands and feet” on the ground in Haiti. They are an inspiration to us all!
As a donor for many years, I am so grateful for the top-notch work the founders, Bobby and Sherry Burnette, staff, and volunteers at Love A Child continue doing in Haiti! So rarely will you ever see a nonprofit with 94% of every $1 donated going directly to program services. They invest a lot of time in providing transparency on the work they do. From Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, and even Twitter postings, each give us a glimpse of what the poorest people in 3rd world countries struggle with each day. It's more than food they share, more than building churches and schools, more than child sponsorship ... They literally save and CHANGE lives in positive ways - through their love!
The Gospel preaches on love, helping the least of these, and Bobby and Sherry, they keep on adhering to the Lord's calling in their life each day. God bless you Love A Child! I am honored to give what I can.

Love A Child is an amazing humanitarian organization and the loving Bobby and Sherry Burnette have dedicated their lives to providing Christian missionary work to the people of Haiti. I find it incredibly impressive that 94% of all LAC donations go to the missions of Haiti. Bobby and Sherry live in the Love A Child orphanage with their 80 plus happy, healthy children who live in a safe, nurturing, Christian home.
Watching Bobby and Sherry on TV is a must! They provide real, live stories of the many challenges, the extreme poverty and the dismal living conditions in Haiti. You witness first hand the relieved and very grateful Haitians and it is not long before they capture your heart and soul. Truly heartwarming to see the passion and sincerity in Bobby and Sherry. They provide such inspiration as they share the love of Christ to the people of Haiti.
Love A Child has built churches and schools throughout Haiti and also provided over 25 million meals to families. They also have a medical center and mobile medical clinics where some Haitians in remote villages have never received medical care. They also provide jobs for hundreds and even teach them sustainability.
I am a very proud and forever grateful donor of such a beautiful organization. I pray for Bobby and Sherry to continue sharing and teaching the love of Christ and providing aid to the poor in Haiti. Their book is definitely a must read as well! As Bobby and Sherry always say, "Love is Something You Do." We love you Bobby and Sherry!

The human stories of sacrifice and commitment the two founders, Bobby and Sherry, endured under such harsh circumstances deeply moved me to give.
My heart broke each time I flipped through TV channels and landed on the CTN "Love A Child" show. Furthermore, after donating each month to the Child Sponsorship program, I'd get these letters, and it was really sad to see how impoverished children live in Haiti. Some children live in garbage dumps, they are neglected, abused, and taken as slaves in many areas.
BUT, Jesus opened my eyes, He allowed my heart to be broken for what breaks His .... The Love A Child ministry brought me back into a place of deep awareness and helped me to embrace that although there is misery and human suffering everywhere, I can do small things to be a part of something so much greater than me.
After over 3 years of giving, I will continue to give all that I can to help this organization experience miracles from God through their programs to care for children and the impoverished. Our brokenness can lead us down so many paths, and I'm grateful that my journey in life has led me to a nonprofit that continuously proves their funding goes directly to helping the poor in Haiti. No matter how tough it is to know about battered or abandoned children, we MUST consider how to be obedient to divine instruction in whatever form it takes for us. May we all manifest the love of God in all that we do.

As a financial supporter of Love A Child, I am very thankful for Bobby and Sherry Burnette who make sacrifices in their lives to serve God and help these poor Haitian people. This is one of the best managed charities I have ever supported. I research the charities I support. I receive the mailings, and do not feel the pictures are demeaning as they are showing the deplorable conditions these Haitian children live in. Pictures speak more than words. May God bless Sherry and Bobby as they continue to do his work.
I was just channel surfing the morning of March 31 2014 when I came across Mr. and Mrs, Burnette with all those children crowding around them for food. They remained calm and cool and loving. What a wonderful ministry they are carrying out in a land where Satan thought he had control. The check I sent to headquarters in Ft. Myers wasn't a lot of money, as my wife and I live on Social Security and a small retirement check from newspapers I worked for and what I can make as a freelance writer and photographer and book author. But I thought how much could be accomplished if only 1 million people in the United States would send a like sum. I'll probably never get to Haiti, but the Burnetts are there for me. God Bless. I'll be praying for you, in Jesus' name.

My business partner and I had the opportunity to visit LAC a month or so ago and we were impressed with everything they are doing to help the people in Haiti. LAC is run very well. Everyone knows their job and they get things done. The grounds are gorgeous, the people were friendly and we can't wait to return and hopefully be working on the new marketplace that is being built.
Love a child has always been true to their word. They are truly the best charity in Haiti with almost 92% of every $$ to the programs.I donated $10000 which feed 260,000 meals. The meals are financed and prepared for by Starving Children in MN and the $10000 paid for transportation. There is NOT another organization that gets more for the $$ than Love A Child. They are truly dedicated to their work and ask little to support themselves. while the United way typically pays their management $250K per year these people are a gift from God. making the most with what they have and barely making ends meet for the betterment of others.

Love A Child is the best missions organization I have ever witnessed 1st hand. I have traveled to Haiti 185 times on mission projects all over the country. I also have taken over 30 other mission trips to Central America and Europe. I have 2 doctoral degrees and have pastored the same church for 30 years. I have much experience with people and christian ministries. The directors of LAC, Bobby and Sherry Burnette, have excellent character, are extremely responsible in finances, and are exemplary in their stewardship of what God has given them. This is evidenced by the following. They live in thier orphanage with 77 orphaned children, have 15 churches-christian schools-feeding programs in remote areas, conduct mobile medical clinics in the mountains, maintain the Jesus Healing Center Clinic which is funded monthly by Joyce Myers Ministries, distribute over 750,000 meals of Feed My Starving Children food each month (Jentzen Franklin Ministries helps support this), distributes food each month to 39 other missions organizations at no charge, operates a christian radio station, employs 350 nationals which helps the local econemy, and now is constructing permanent housing for those displaced by the earthquake. After the earthquake they partnered with Harvard Humanitarian Initiative to operate a field hospital on their property as well as partnering with the American Refugee Committe in operating a tent city for displaced people. Of course anyone can research this for themselves by going to thier website or viewing their TV program.
