Causes: Food, Food Programs
Mission: Loudoun Hunger Relief was organized for the purpose of collecting and distributing food to needy families and individuals in Loudoun county, Virginia.
Target demographics: provide food to the food insecure
Direct beneficiaries per year: 11,000 Loudoun residents and gave 1.2 million pounds of food
Geographic areas served: Loudoun County
Programs: Loudoun Hunger Relief provided emergency food supplies to more than 11,000 individuals through 94,000 visits, approximately half were children, serving more than 60 families per service day and distributing over 1. 4 million pounds of food. Through the generosity of our community, we have been able to provide food to everyone who has requested food assistance.
