Causes: Children & Youth, Youth Development Programs
Mission: Lotus Bloom is a multicultural organization that develops and provides innovative programs for inner-city children, youth and families. Through our creative programming, we seek to empower individuals to realize their full potential and transcend their dreams into reality. We provide arts, crafts, music, and literacy activities to help promote language development and early learning experiences. We are dedicated to working with diverse populations and seek to connect people of different backgrounds to work collaboratively.
Results: We've grown to operate out of 5 sites throughout Oakland. This year, we are focusing on infrastructure and fundraising activities to keep our programs sustainable.
Target demographics: Children 0-5 years old and their parents/caregivers living in the East Bay.

Programs: Provide free and low cost access to reading, music, art and play-based activities for children and families living in oakland, ca and its surrounding area.
