Mission: Enhance the image of long term care pharmacy providers in the washington, dc political arena. Representing their interests with congress and with regulatory agencies.
Programs: Ltcpa advocated for changes to the dea proposed rule on drug disposal requirements at long-term care facilities, (with a successful outcome announced in september 2014). Ltcpa also lobbied cms on unforeseen implementation problems associated with short-cycle dispensing requirements in long-term care facilities.
