Causes: Boards of Trade
Mission: The primary exempt purpose of the society is the advancement of the practice and science of otolaryngology-head and neck surgery. The membership is comprised of otolaryngologists engaged in practice in nassau and suffolk counties in the state of new york and the boroughs of queens, brooklyn, and new york. The main activity of the society consists of meetings of the general membership, occurring four times per year. At these meetings an invited lecturer will give a one-hour presentation on a clinical or scientific topic related to otolaryngology-head and neck surgery and/or appointed representatives from the society will present summaries of the proceedings of national and regional professional societies on topics that relate to the clinical practice of otolaryngology-head and neck surgery.
Programs: In accordance with its charter the society held several meetings during the year to discuss current trends and developments regarding advancements in the area of otolaryngology-head and neck surgery.
