This group is "WONDERFUL." Doesn't matter if it's rain or shine these volunteers jump into action to help animals. Whether it be spay or neuter, advice or help with getting feral cats fixed they go out of their way to help. I have known a couple of the ladies for several years. All I can say is both are "DEDICATED."
I am a supporter of Long Beach Spay and Neuter! Keep up the "GREAT" work!

My office is a trailer on the docks, and just outside my door there is heavy equipment travelling to and from the ship. Some thoughtless person abandoned their cat and it was hiding under my office. We made a bed out of a cardboard box and provided food and water. However, this was obviously no place for the animal. I tried to find someone at work to take her without success and not having a place for her myself, I turned to the internet.

I searched and learned how difficult it is to find someone willing to rescue an animal in need. The local animal shelter isn't really a shelter. It's a pound and a virtual death sentence. Rescue groups are filled with good people with good intentions and very limited resources.

Finding someone to help before the kitty was run over by heavy equipment was beginning to look impossible until I found these people.

They listened, understood the urgency and responded quickly. Thanks to them, I was able to cage and deliver the kitty to their care within just a few hours. The kitty has a new home in a loving environment instead of living out of trash cans, dodging heavy equipment and avoiding raccoons in the harbor.

I am so proud of the work if this organization. They respond to any persons request for help. They provide advice, transport, TNR, vet runs for spay neuter, provide medical
assistance, recommend low cost knowledgeable vets and help to adopt out stray animals. They will do what eve it takes to help an animal in need. They maximum their finances to ensure they spread it to as many animal as possible. Thank you LBSN for all you do for the animals
