I joined in support of the Lonesome Dove Equine Protection (LDEP) about two months ago. They have been forthright in keeping the public notified and informed on their acts of kindness, public awareness on crucial issues in the equine industry that the public is otherwise oblivious of and great rescue stories that allow us, the public, to be a small part in helping and participating in making a difference. Thank you for your existence and continued hard working efforts!

I adopted my sweet Abby from Angela. I love her and all she unselfishly does for her rescues. She doesn't just rescue equine, she rescues all walks of life. She is the most genuine, loving, honest, compassionate person I know. I am truly blessed to know her. Not only did I adopt from her, I also gained a life long friend.

I have networked over face book with this group for the past several years. I have seen LIFE changing experiences for so many animals who were in need of rescue. Angela is extremely knowledgeable and dedicated. I have seen her take in animals that people have thrown away and makes them well, for whatever time they have left on this earth. She works ENDLESSLY networking not only to find dogs and horses homes, she fights for the animals that aren't hers! I have learned so much from reading her posts.
The world needs MORE people like her. Thank You Angela Sotelo for all you do to help animals across the miles and not just in Texas.
Sincerely, Mary J Tahlequah in Seattle WA

These folks are changing lives of equines everyday. It's very challenging and expensive to up keep a healthy well taken care of horse and these folks take in these poor horses in need! The love and care they show sick, injured, abused and neglected equines deserves them thanks and help and some much more! Thank you LDEP for all you do every day! I hope I'm able to change one horse's life you change so very many!

Angela is extremely knowledgeable and dedicated. I have worked with Angela in helping with transporting horses to her facility and doing odd jobs as needed for the past four years. She works tirelessly to provide for the animals in her care . From burros, horses, goats, cats and dogs...
These animals are all about heritage and need to be saved.!!! Even though it's a tough and almost thankless job, they jump to the pump! The animals need them! Keep it up!!! :)
Angela has taught me so much about the rescue end of the equine world, Both the good and the bad.
Keep up the great work Angela!! We need more people and rescues like you in Texas
