The Moss Free Clinic accepted me as a volunteer in the Dental Clinic. The dental coordinator of the dental clinic mentored me and helped me learn so much about the dental assisting field. It helped me to realize that the dental field was where I wanted to be. It was very good that I could use the volunteer hours when applying for dental hygiene school. It let the school know that I was serious about working in the dental field. I appreciate the relationships I developed during my volunteer time. I hope to continue to volunteer at the Moss Free Clinic. It is a much needed facility for the underserved people who live in our community. I suggest anyone with time or skills to offer to contact the volunteer coordinator at the Moss Free Clinic. She would be glad to use your talents to benefit the community.

The Moss free clinic has greatly enhanced the oral, physical and mental health of many under privileged people within the community by providing care they other wise may not have been able to receive. The dental clinic has greatly helped to improve the community’s health, by eliminating physical and oral pain.

The Moss Clinic has helped me with alcohol addiction, diabetes, psychological issues, and general health. Their mainly volunteer staff is generally very helpful while the paid staff is always pleasant and the doctors and nurses are amazing. I have no idea how bad my health would be without them but I know it would be no where as good as it is now thanks wholly to the Moss Clinic. It is a great organization that is worthy of any and all financial support. They have a 1st class dental facility that I believe is in dire need of funding and doctor support.

Stafford Junction serves children and their families in Stafford County who are at risk because of poverty and limited English proficiency. The Moss Free Clinic has been so patient and willing to work with the impoverished people we serve. They have helped open my eyes to the complex challenges of providing health care to this population. They play a unique role in our community.

The Lloyd F. Moss Free Clinic assists the most vulnerable people in the community by providing and coordinating medical, dental, mental health, chronic care, specialty care, medications, laboratory services, radiology services, emergency room, and hospital services. This coordinated care would not be possible without the numerous medical and lay volunteers in the community both on and off site, as well as many of the local larger organizations such as Mary Washington Hospital. Many of the patients are chronically ill with multiple health problems such as diabetes, heart disease, kidney disease, cancer, arthritis, and depression. The Moss Free clinic is a fun and rewarding place to work and volunteer because the patients are so appreciative of the care they receive and everyone working with the patients really wants to be here. The Moss Free Clinic also provides direct patient care opportunities and training for numerous students including medical, nurse practitioners, nursing (associate and bachelor degree), medical assistant, premed, pharmacy, pharmacy tech, mental health, and dental hygiene. Come check us out and become part of something that is making our community a kinder place to live and work.

The Lloyd F. Moss Free Clinic is an amazing facility with professional and caring staff that are dedicated to improving the health of the many uninsured citizens in their community. The nonprofit I work for, Rx Partnership, helps coordinate free medication for the clinic's patients and in 2010 that meant providing the medication so Lloyd Moss could fill more than 12,000 prescriptions valued at $2.2 million for nearly 1,500 patients. That's the largest volume of medication out of all the clinics we support. Great job Lloyd F. Moss Free Clinic!
