Mission: Live love is a community development non-profit partnering with neighborhood leaders for the purpose of building strong community, connecting people, and caring for our neighbors. Identifying and mobilizing assets is the best way to ensure sustainable neighborhood-driven development. For this reason, we have been working alongside leaders within the downtown community who are striving to create change and healthy growth right where they live.
Programs: Live love chandler provided community development services related to connecting with and caring for our neighbors in the downtown chandler area. Services included after school and school break educational programs for approximately 35 kids, holiday celebrations for over 30 families, assistance with home and yard maintenance for 45 senior adults, and monthly delivery of food to 40 senior adults. Programs and services were provided with the help of approximately 150 local volunteers.
live love haiti supported the good neighbor orphanage in port au prince, haiti which provides shelter, food and education to 20 children. Approximately 75 volunteers were involved in supporting the program services at good neighbor orphanage in 2016.
live love malawi provides community development services for the villages of chipampha, mkanda, and chiliza in malawi, africa. Programs include literacy for adults, study groups for over 200 women, after school programs for 300 children, and sports outreach for 20 young girls and 50 men. There are approximately 50 volunteers involved in the weekly programs providing support and guidance.
